For the Xbox 360, GTA IV is superior because it has achievements, which adds on a ton of replayability, not to mention the 360 has a better online service.
The PS3, supposedly (it’s supposed to, anyway; I have a 360 myself) has better graphics and less frequent pop-up.
Honestly, the game is great and if you have both an Xbox 360 and a PlayStation 3 neither one of your purchases would really be in vain, unless you wanted to increase your GamerScore.
For the main point of this forum (which started in 2005 — jesus), I believe it goes: 1. Xbox 360 2. Wii 3. PS3.
I love the 360 because of achievements (adds a lot of replayability), the Wii because I am obsessed with SSBB and Super Mario Galaxy, and the only reason the PS3 is third on my list is because I don’t actually own one :P.
We had the opportunity to speak at length with various LittleBigPlanet producers at PlayStation Day, as well as get some hands-on time with the title. Top of our discussion list was the beta. We wanted to know as much as possible about when it’s coming and have done since it was implied last July. However both Sam Bennett (Community Development Manager) and Pete Smith (Producer) maintained that a public, open beta will sadly not be happening. The game will go through a beta phase, obviously, but this will be performed by an internal group at Sony.
There’s a possibility of a small number of gamers and press being invited into the beta phase, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Releasing the game in its entirety to the public, free of charge would be suicide. Instead, there’s talk of a demo being made available, which will curb our monstrous hunger pangs for the game until its October release. What the demo will contain and when it will arrive is still being discussed.

From everything I’ve seen in these forum debates, its seems like the 360 fans are the most thick-headed fan boys in general. Both sides have their ignorance, sure, but come on. Both systems have their ups and downs. Both have very nice graphics and features.
Many ps3 fans want to feel and justify that they got their moneys worth, but at the same time 360 fans want to feel and justify that they are missing nothing by going with the cheaper system.
The fact is, this console generation is in a suck-ass state in general right now. Yes, the 360 has more games than the ps3, but that accounts to coming out a year prior. And even though it does have more games, given the total number of games and the percentage of those that are actually of quality... its horrendous. 2 freakin years and it still offers a crap selection.
As for power? the ps3 is a more powerful system capable of much more in the future as they start to take advantage of its potential. Is a giant difference, no!
Now I had a 360 once, about a year ago. It was more Great system, absolutely, but I lost my faith in Microsoft. My 360 broke 7 times and they refused to replace it. They would just run through the drill regardless of what I asked. Box it up, they fix it, return it... then it breaks again in less than a week. I then decided to go with the company I have trusted for years... Sony ps3. It has treated me wonderfully for what it has so far provided, also allowing me to watch bluray movies. Both systems are lacking currently in number and quality of games, but that will change for both as time goes on.
Concluding, even though I’ve had a terrible experience with the 360 myself, I respect that it has cleaned itself up and I recognize the nice features it contains including its very nice online network. I would ask the same respect between 360 and ps3 fans alike.

According to several game stores and forums, mine was a rare case it seems. I was told most people only had to get their system repaired twice. Regardless, it was MY experience with the system and the company.
However.. I don’t know why you are doubting me... do you need to see our receipts or something? I would show you if it wasn’t for the wasted effort just to make a point.
Also, its my understanding that it was the same 360 they kept sending back. They wouldn’t give me one that was new. Always refurbished and would always break. The longest run we had with the system was almost 2 weeks.

he said his 360 broke 7 times, not that he had 7 different 360s. anyways, i would say, in general, 360 fanboys are worse. there are only 2 sony fanboys who are totally ridiculous. you know who they are, and they’re not all of the sony fanboys...
lol, I’ll also add that I am a fan of the Wii. It is a very innovative little console. I’ll even agree with Will Wright and say that it is the only true Next-Gen console. I only say that because it took gaming in a different direction, rather than pushing forward on what we already know. The Wii ain’t about the graphics, it’s about the fun!
