Vista just doesn’t run well on laptops.

Besides, XP had many issues when it first came out. I myself find Vista to be the best OS I’ve used. But maybe that’s just because my computer can easily hold it up.

It does for me. But I also have 32Bit, which is smoother then 64Bit.

Vista has just been a waste of my time. Go get an apple laptop next time and have an OS that works properly.

Then why does every company and business refuse to upgrade to Vista? Most of them don’t even allow Vista to be used and all documents, etc have to be done on XP or lower. They don’t allow any files to be done on Vista, even if it is changed to a different format.

It runs slower than XP no matter what. Part of it is all that stupid crap it does in the background.

Zucas - Nah, I’ll gladly stick with Vista. It’s working perfectly for me.

21 - Of course it runs slower then XP, it uses more resources. That’s how it’s always been for OS’s.

As for why businesses don’t use it, I don’t know. XP IS cheaper. And is already heavily patched.

I do know why they don’t use it. It’s full of glitches, unreliable, has issues with holding hands, and is way too slow.

I honestly don’t remember a speed decrease between 95' 98' and XP. Of course, if you lower everything it will increase.

I lowered everything on Vista and it’s still slow. It is faster with lower settings but still ridiculously slow.

I would figure that Microsoft would have solved that problem by now.

I hear Vista has tons of issues and stuff but I haven’t had a single one yet. And i haven’t noticed any speed decrease when starting up or shutting down my PC. Infact everything loads up really fast. But that may also be becuase my PC is 1337.

21 - Vista is not slow for me. At all. You just assume if it runs slow for you, it must be a turtle for everyone.

Hell, I have a 90$CPU and a 20$GPU and vista runs like a dream. Much faster then my last computer, which was an XP.

I’m not assuming. I know. Try getting a job. You’ll find Vista isn’t allowed in corporations, businesses, and companies. Not even if you bought it yourself.

Actually I don’t. I have a slightly above normal computer. But vista still runs amazingly well.

I have dual boot for XP and Vista. Guess what I always use for play and business? Of course, XP!
