In AP European History we had finished everything for the rest of the year and we all took the AP test (Got a 3 yay!) so we didn’t have to take the class final. Only one person had to so she left the class while we all watched movies for 2 weeks. I guess she had a longass final or something.
Anyways, we were watching shindlers list and we were on the part where the women were accidentally shipped to auschwitz. I left to go to the bathroom, and when I came back in I saw this huge smokestack in the scene. I asked my friend “What’d I miss?" My friend said “They’re making Jew sausages." It was a pretty terrible response but because it was so tastless and mean everyone thought it was funny.
A few days later we were watching all these old cartoons made during world war 2 that depicted Nazi propaganda. One of these was the 3 pigs and the wolf-hitler cartoon. In one of the scenes it shows a swastika made out of sausages on the bottom right corner. Suddenlt the person behind us yelled out LOOK IT’S THE JEW SAUSAGES!!!! Nobody in the class wasn’t laughing.

So as you can see it’s things like that example that start some of these jokes.

I just know there are a lot of different cultures from many countries that post in here, and maybe the Holocaust is light to us, in some European areas it’s still very touchy. And the thing about the nuclear bomb in Japan well I think we understand that one.
I like the leniency of this thread, and everything I’ve said is simply a suggestion, not a demand. So take it for what its worth.
