Apparently, the 360 update will allow you to install your games onto the HDD, and you can bring the old dashboard up on screen as the new guide menu.

Pfff tztz the troll has spoken and unlike for 360 there are reports about supposendly groundbreaking and breathtaking PS3 games. It’s also simple logic, the 360 architecture is not much different from PC, so it’s easy to develope, the devs know the hardware perfectly and can use all the trics. Not much room for improvement. This can’t be said about the PS3, everybody is new to such hardware and there is huge room for improvement. Maybe Sony finally figured it out how to use PS3’s huge power correctly. Yep huge HUUUUUGE power, everybody just needs to take a look at Folding@Home, it pretty much pwns PC’s bigtime, now if Sony figured it out how to bring this power to games, then well...SAYONARA
Lol everyone knows the cell is good for handling complex algorithms but for games it sucks balls
I have the feeling PS3 has much to come while 360 is already maxed out.
wasn’t FF13 supposed to use all the SPU’s in PS3?
Last time I checked...
Oh yeah.
So explain how 360 is maxed out, when games ARE coming out looking better than ever and only separated by about a single game on PS3 which could probably be done on 360 seeing as FF13 can.

Not sure what that has to do with anything but WHOOO! GO Sony!
With your statement buddy or did you direct it to the optional installs? You have to live with it, this feature is pretty much useless as of now. MS has to massively drop the prices and bring out bigger HDD’s or release an adapter or something so people can use standard laptop HDD’s.
Um right, because the HDD’s they have now are completely useless. I totally forgot that.
Enough bullshitting around the bush, eh? Installs was one of the advantages for the PS3. Now the 360 has it, and suddenly the Ps3 fans look for a new excuse to hide behind.
Drop the hate, be a gamer, not sheep.
Whatever, I’m out.
It’s only an advantage because we can use big and cheap HDD’s. If not I would be pretty pissed about the installs, I have like 12 games and my HDD is already full and I had to delete demos, not good. I would show the middle finger to Sony if we wouldn’t have the HDD option. In your case it’s not that bad as it’s optional, so nothing to get pissed about, just useless. How many games can the non Elite users install? 1? 2? Ridiculous.
Better then being forced to eventually buy bigger HDD’s.

The point is the 360 can’t expand above 120Gb hard drives, and then the 120Gb is at rip off MS prices.

Dude...all you need is 120gbs man thats like 12 games you can install with like 40 gigs to spare plus most people only play multiplayer so there wont be a need to install the game only on heavy singleplaer games

Your point? I’m not forced to pay money.
Still you have no choice but too pay MS rip off prices when you decide to upgrade.

Well duh! You literally just said “You have to pay money to buy something!"
Fact is, 360 owners don’t have to buy a bigger HDD. But the PS3 Fans eventually will, and it will be more more expensive then say, Live?
