nfl (madden, espn, gameday)......bcos im a football tragic.
any good FPSer.....bcos theyre immersive, lose track of time.
mario sunshine (and games like that)......bcos it was cool, and had all those little sub-mission tests of skill.

like....the crash levels on the burnout games, not the actual game, but those crash levels were awesome. id sit there for ages trying to get thru each one.

so any racing game with a crash-theme is also good fun.
