i really cant decide who would win they are both hard asses but i would have to say Solid Snake even though i like splinter cell games better

i think that snake would win in long range gun fight

but say if sam tryed to sneak up behind snake then snake would just turn around grab sams arm break it releasing the knife from his hand twist sams arm around his own neck and stab him in the back with sams knife

Nah, snakes more of a 'hands on' kinda guy, and he is so much cooler, if he can beat a metal gear, then he can beat Sam Fisher

Sam rocks. No doubt about it. Sam deals more with people, Snake - with Metal Gear. Machines and people are two totally different things. Snake prefers an open approach, Sam - the darkness behind.

Staying in the shadows is the best way to eliminate a person, and Sam Fisher can do it by grabbing hold of Snake and twisting his neck before he can even react.

Using pressure points, Sam can inflict pain for interoggation. I only see Snake threaten people with a gun - not a very good idea. Too open.

Let me hear your opinions.

I think solid snake is way better than sam.
Solid can take out guys that are way beyond normal... Grey Fox, Ocelot, Mantis, Vamp

Sam has the whole badass thing going... in the movies Snake was a total badass, but I didnt get the same feel from the games when I played them which was a little disappointing.
Snake is more a one man army, Sam more elite assasin. Snake would kill a main target with an RPG from a rooftop and then fight off meeelions of guards... Sam would wait till the dude needed a wizz and grab all the info he wants before gutting the s.o.a.b and sneaking off home to Lambert.

Snake from the movies was a badass though hehe

I prefer Sam in the games though.. plus Sam’s voice is dudey.

Depends on the situation. Out in the open or in daytime, Snake would win (because he has bigger guns and he’s used to the open, and Sam’s practically photophobic).

If it’s urban combat, or in the dark, Fisher would win. While Snake may have thermal goggles and stuff (if he remembers to pick it up) Fisher would probably OCP them. Yup. ^_^

Okay, boys... let’s not fight... it’s an opinion. Sam Fisher and Snake - who’s the better of the two? Or are they both the same?

I agree that Snake does more shooting - the action man. Sam is the one to stay behind in the shadows - stealth. We can’t really say who can kill who actually - their abilities are totally far apart, and can somehow better the other. But in terms of looks, I say Sam has the nicer outfit. Cool goggles!

It’s simple how we are going to solve this debate. Hassel the game makes for a “Snake vs Fisher” fighting game in the style of mortal combat.

P.S Snake would win cause he is a freak of nature.

Snake definitely, i’ve played every Metal Gear and every Splinter cell they are both bad ass but i’d have to give it to snake, he knos how to fight and sneak. The only way Sam would win is if he could sneak up and Snake and there is no way that would happen, plus Snake is just so much more hardcore than Sam
