Snake is sneaky...just in differnet ways. Sam hides in open shadows in hallways or climbs stuff, while Snake is under stuff or on top stuff like trees and is smart enough to use a freakin disguise such as a CARDBOARD BOX!
Sam does climb better(snake practiically doesn’t)but Snake has better hand to hand (cqc+judo) and Snake has some supernatural abilites such as iffinite ammo(which he doesn’t need). Snake also uses his knife more being more resourceful
They both do however use lowered postures(i had to bring this up). I just think Sam looks funny when he crouch walks but snake can crawl and does a crouch RUN.
If their aiming is the same(which i believe it doesn’t matter since they are about the same)Snake would win.
AND YES i am a fan of BOTH SERIES. but snake has sam beat...easily.

but it is how you use it, the style does not matter it is up to the user. A guy can be beatan if he doesn’t have as much experience or isn’t a better fighter.

sam is just an nsa spy with hi tech gear, snakes a soldier/spy built for war with superior hand to hand techniques (CQC) and hi tech gadgets my money would be on snake. sam hides in the dark snake hides in plain sight.
ok, i duno how old this post is so sorry if i am digging it up from a grave. anyways, snake is all guns n glory, but he also knows how to sneek. but honestly hiding in a cardboard box isnt realy that effective if you know what i mean. in the end i think it would come down to the gear. if you have noticed sam’s thermal can see through walls, wilst snakes cant. snake can use all types of guns like ak’s famas' uzi’s you name it and snake has it. while sam only seems to use a socom style pistol, and a sc 2000. yet again the sc 2000 has a shotgun, sniper rifle, and grenade launcher attachments. in hand to hand combat. i think they would just work together to hill some terrorist guy who wants to kill the states. isnt that how it always goes

1. No one can possibly hear sam, espaecially when they r asleep
2. Who cares about who is better at CQC and who is better with guns, how will that help when u cant see ur target

4. Solid Snake obviously works for the govt so his existince will be denied as well, its standard policy.
5.Sam can fight (SCC)

Sam does not just rely on tech, he has his training and instict. the original SC hardly has tech especially on the CIA assignment, pure skill. and in DA he goes through a prison riot with a knife and a war zone in broad daylight with nothing but his 2 guns and 1 clip. and on hard u barely get ammo if at all.
7. Sam is a war veteran, he could survive in a jungle(look at bear grylles, he a soldier no where near sams skills)
8. If i dropped Sam and snake in a room and cut the power sam could see snake and snake couldnt cuz he doesnt where ur so called “gay goggles”(and dont say anything about the glow of sams equipment cuz its been proven that it doesnt glow)

Well...if you really want to boil it down to truth which is reality...the reality of this subject is this, Sam fisher and solid snake use two different styles to get thier missions done. But if it cam down to it the truth is...luck. They’re both skilled people. I mean come on if it was reality than solid snake wouldnt even exist since hes a clone so that ends the debate right there where as we actually have people in the CIA and NSA like sam fisher and thats no joke. but as far as the game world goes...if your stuck with what you can use in the game...well with sam its all one hit kills and snake its button mashing so I would still go with same unless snake just unloads on sam than he would die cause sam dies in two shots anyways.
actually Sam is more realistic let’s face this... Snake can carry 13 weapon and big ones too!! like rpg stinger m16 ak47 etc. Also he has an insane health!!! i mean he is hit by a rocket and survives!!! Sam is the real thing, he carries 2 guns and some equipment and he can stand at least 5 shots... i wouldn’t be surprised if kojima would make him able to stop a bullet with his hands...
Alrgiht first of all comparing these two looks like a good fight but isnt. In hand to hand Combat Snake will kick Sam’s little white ASS!! But if ur talking about stealth, yeah sam has an advantage... but is they were fully equipment i think Snake still will kick Sams ass...
What if it was Big Boss vs Sam fisher, lol i think everybody know that Big Boss will wipe sams ass!!
