Good Co-op games for PC

I bought halo looking forward to some co-op in it and i find out! it isn’t. but i heard you can have co-op online or somthing or on lan. but i don’t no how to set it up. any way. i don’t want RPGs or midevil qeast games that are co-op. I like lord of the rings though but i don’t think i will get it. plz help me.
