You may have seen the violent argument in the Samus vs. Master Chief forum. How many of you think they should just shut up? For any reason: because Metroid + Halo aren’t real, because everyone talking is an idiot, etc.
thats what you get on any topic tho. i feel your frustration, but it cant be helped. best advice is to try to be as impartial as possible bcos having any sort of staunch opinion is always going to be a love-hate effect — - youll get those who fervently agree with you as you will get those wholl fervently attack you (childishly and maturely).

plus you said in your last post on the other forum that you welcome positive and negative feedback.....with that youre gonna get childish positive and childish negative feedback.
we tend to ignore the positive ones being childish bcos we happen to agree with them and dare not offend those childish ones that agree with us in case they turn on us.

While I thank you for your advice, GG, the point of this forum is not to get people who support or do not support me. It is to find out other people’s opinions on this matter.

Scorpion, I DO like Halo and Metroid. I just think that the ppl on the Samus vs. MC site are acting like two year olds. The argument is pointless; since Samus and MC will never meet, as they live in different universes, who CARES who wins? Especially if it means people start screaming at each other like babies.
The idea of Samus vs. Master Chief really wasn’t so bad until everyone started being an idiot or a hypocrite. Only, like, two people actually make good points on that topic.

i know its spelled ganon...i have beaten every zelda game there ever was excluding the ones on the CD-i. i have twilight princess reserved...but didnt you know in tloz for nes its spelled gannon...im sure u didnt know that... mabey it wasnt translated correctly,mabey a small typo but the fact is...it is spelled gannon on the nes...but that is not the reason i spelled ganon that way...i spelled it that way for the same reason that people spell the-tha or cool-kool or to-2...but there is really no reason to explain myself to the likes of u...

i dont really know how powerful the cannons are...but i do know that the plasma pistol is one of the weakest guns in halo.so the cannon has to be more powereful just look at it this way samus is way more advanced than mc she is from a time far more advanced...there is like a 18000 (200X0 im not exactly sure what year that is)year time difference, and halo is in the past and im not saying that as a samus fan im saying it as somone who has played both games...i know die hard halo fans that would say that samus would kill mc.

the posts u read were from later in the forum when i was just defending myself from a crazed halo fan that has never even played a metroid prime game...i said we/samus won a long time ago because everything that these halo fans are saying has already been countered by the samus fans...they just keep repeating the same thing over and over again

but....thats not 18000 earth years back. its 18000 fictional galaxy years back. 18000 years back vs 18000 forward might be a very slow progression in this fictional galaxy. this statistic alone isnt a reason why samus is better or worse. you have to just judge what each one in its current environment has to deal with, has on offer for weaponry, and what kind of resilience they tend to show in their environment. then judge which may win.
