revan Guest | people, mainly gannon, seem 2 forget that the halo movie will HAVE 2 be good so they will not lose most of the fans who play the game. if they screw up the movie than whats 2 say people will think that microsoft will screw up the next game? so if microsoft wants 2 continue 2 make money of the games and all other halo related things, they WILL make the movie good.

I haven’t read the book, but then not many people have, so if they made a movie based on it then at least most people wouldn’t already know the story. Of course, if anyone here has read the book you would be able to explain if you think it could be a good movie.

open up whatever you use to type things. Type your story, save it *.rtf* is what I save on. Go to fanfiction.com, got to document, browse, select file, type in .rtf or whatever you used,and create document,then you can edit or what not. then save,go to stories,and I forget what you do after that.

It CAN be a bad idea to make a movie from a game, not many have been able to do it REALLY well, yes, Ressy Evil movies were OK but they could have been so much more..... And the other “Game based Movies” that come to mind where all rather bad.....
But think about this people, before you condemn something that isn’t even close to being out yet....
What if it works, really well, Halo 1 and 2, they went past all expectations that people had set for them, so what’s stopping the movies from doing that same?
I don’t think that Microsoft will risk the reputation of the biggest selling Xbox game(s) (as well as the record holder for sales in the first day, in both movies and games, that’s alot of cash) Unless they were really sure it will work, alot of the Xbox 360’s sale will most likely be based on how good the next Halo game is..... I think they realize this and will not risk it unless they are sure it will work.....
As a Halo 1 and 2 fan, I’m not sure what to think, if this movie turns out crap I will lose alot of faith in Halo, Bungie and Microsoft... If it works, they will go down in history.... My hope is that it will be good...
One more thing, FF VII: Advent Children (look it up if you are a FF7 fan, it will not disappoint, hopefully) this movie will rock some socks as well, oh and it was a Movie based from a game (A very good game and one of the most well known RPG’s of all time mind you, but still Halo is a VERY good FPS, so only time will tell)
So what’s what here, good luck, if they make this movie work, which they could (anything’s possible) It will not taint the reputation of the games and has a huge change of being the best Game based Movie of all time.... However if they F#$@ it up... The loss will be very costly to them and the future of the Halo series, maybe even the future Xbox consoles.....

Bungie could do a super-long CG film following the books storyline and call it a movie.
that would work, But if Hollywood interferes Shizzle 2 will be right,it will end up with Chief screwing Cortana in the ass.
but then again,if Bungie does everything themselves then the movie would probably be fantastic.
