O_O Guest | okay lemme put this all in perspective for those of you who obviously do not know what you are talking about. First the book came. The first book was HALO: The Fall of Reach. Writers eventually began writing the script for HALO: Combat Evolved. From this script came HALO: The Flood. The Flood is a composition of the script of the entire HALO: Combat Evolved video game. The Flood encompasses all of the elements that were left out in the game to either conserve disc space or stop the game from dragging on as these things that happened the Master Chief was not present for, therefore it would be useless and all they would be able to do is make cinematics that didn’t pertain to the Master Chief at all. After the game and book came out, production came once again for a book and the game. The book HALO: First Strike is there to bridge the gap between when he left Halo and where he returns to Earth. Anyone who has any idea the vast distance will also know that there is no way he would ever make it to earth on a puny little longsword fighter. As is, the book bridges all the gaps including how he got to Earth and what became of Reach afterwards. No, the Chief isnt the only spartan left. The book talks about a continuing fight between the Covenant and the Spartans. It also explains where the chief gets the new weaponry that most people dont realize, but in the beginning the battle rifles more or less popped out of nowhere.

O_O Guest | I’ll have you all know that I do not claim to be a Halo master, in fact I am honest with myself in saying that in truth I really am not that great at all. What I can say is that the movie will be good and here is why. Bungie and Microsoft are setting very strict rules for whomever will be writing the script. The script is supposed to be perfectly accurate.
