Only reason he’s in a band is he started it.
Just watch some dvds on em.. he tenses up like a BEAST... major no no.. drummers have to be relaxed.. I play better than this cunt and im 18 (and im a drum teacher btw and ive been taught by the worlds best drummers before you say I know nothing...I know more than you)
Hey adwodon. Your right. Lars Ulrich or whatever the hell his name is does get tired quickley, but that doesn’t mean he is a bad drummer. Drumming veries from person to person. I like to be balanced behind a drumset, but i don’t play relaxed. I play until i can’t feel my arms or legs. Every drumer has a different style and you can’t start dissing people. Especially since you are not a know drummer, but you were still taught by the best in the world.
I’m not trying to diss you, but you have to expand your mind and think about how other drummers play.
True, but I just dont see the point when he gets exhausted before the rest of the band breaks a sweat.
Ive been told by people who’ve seen them that he’s appauling live and he misses notes alot.
And that fact that he thinks he’s gods gift is just wrong.
But each to their own I guess, he is in Metallica.
Playing the way he does though stops him from reaching the high levels of drumming speed and power like Buddy Rich, Jim Chapin, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dom Famularo, Steve Gadd, Dave Weckyl etc etc
