Hi... I’m new here so don’t kill me. What do you think? Could somebody make a song that combined reading lyrics with gothic undertones? Would it be popular? Of course, this would have to be done using intelligent words. None of that crazy 'fo shizzle' stuff. Would any of you listen to it?
Linkin Park and JZ, gothic rap? No. Not at all. The best form of “Gothic Rap” would be The Crüxshadows performing Edgar Allen Poe’s “Annabel Lee” though it’s not rap persay. But that’s the only way it can be done.
Rap and gothic music are terrible. Some goth stuff might be okay.
ON second thought, I don’t think we should argue over this. All us hard rockers, goths, gangstas, and crazy metal heads should join together and fight the pop music that has taken over our world!
Rouge reading Annabel Lee is the I’m thinking of. I’m a great poet and what I hope to achive by combining rap and goth is something that the majority will like that will draw attention to other kinds of music. If you see my name one day, you’ll know I’ve succeded lol.
