Hell yea, im a bit of a movie lover myself so I figured id start a thread about some of those awesome films!!

My personal preference is to those screwed up films on touchy subjects, but to be honest I like anything except chick flicks *tries to restrain from ranting about Hugh Grants freakness*. Even lame action films make me laugh, and even if they dont and make me angry at least they evoke emotion.

Here are some of my favs!!

Requiem for a Dream - Best drugs film ive ever seen, got a gritty side to it and its not a happy ending.

Happiness - Dont watch this with other people hah, it touches on taboos left right and centre its awesome

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest - A golden oldy, and such a sad film

O Brother Where Art Thou - I love this film I think its hilarious, not for most people though, bit more grown up I feel.

City of God - Brazillian film, about a slum in Rio (i think), and a true story, very good film.

Dark Days - A documentary about homeless in New York who live under a bridge.. incredible.

Cube - Best thriller out there, tense throughout and such a brain teaser too.

Snatch - Everyone loves this film because its just awesome, funny as hell.

Irreversable - French film.. those frend make odd films

Dogma - I love this film, its hilarious

I Am Sam - Tis a sad yet happy film, not for 'macho' people but such a good film

American Beauty - Everyone should have seen this but its still amazing an film

Misery - One of the 2 good Steven King films (the only ones without his name in the title), The Shining was the popular one, this in my opinion has the most cringe-worthy scene in cinema to this day.

Dr Strangelove (aka How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb) - Peter Sellers is a legend, and although this isnt as good as Pink Panther its such an awesome film because of its subject

Fight Club - Nuff said

Ichi The Killer - Japanese blood bath, such a great film!!

Oldboy - A guy gets released after 15 years in a room after his wife was murdered.. Japanese blood bath ensues haha

Cast Away (love Tom Hanks) - This film made me cry its awesome

Turner and Hooch - I love this film with a passion!! One of Hank’s 80’s comedy films, awesome

Saving Private Ryan - Again nuff said

K-Pax - An odd one with Spacey in it, still a good film

A Fish Called Wanda - John Cleese, such a funny film, its an old one but sooooo good.

All Monty Python - If you aint heard o these boys, GET OUT MORE!

Ace Ventura - Its childish but I just cant help but crack up every time I see these 2 films

Trainspotting - Scottish drug scene anyone? A cult classic

The Green Mile - Mr Hanks again.. awesomely touching film.

Sin City - Cinematic genius, its a moving comic book, everything about it shines genius, the violence may put alot of people off but its so good, and some awesome lines! Funny as hell *Marv rules*

Pi - Not for most, about a maths genius who is on the verge of cracking the stock market formula, and also completely loosing his sanity.

Ill stop there to save your eyes

I love all those films and if you havent seen any of them I urge you to because they will provoke some kind of reaction (especially Happiness thats amazing).

What are your lots fav films?? Care to explain why they are your favs too.

I’m looking for any movie about an older person that somehow gets to go back and see themselves as they were when they were young, like when they were a teenager. Does anyone know of any movies like this?

Thanks for your help.
