So here is the ultimate (and hopefully fanboyless) discussion. Here are the rules before I give the base idea.

1. NO FANBOYS
2. Think before you speak.
3. If you have an opinion, bring evidence.

Refusal to obey the rules will result in your name being ultimatly posted as a FUCKING n00b-Fanboy.

Here goes:
The next gen as everyone knows will bring awesome games such as Halo 3, Final Fantasy XII, Killzone 2, Zelda, GTA: Hawaii, and, many, many, more.
Although some have made the ridiculus attempt to claim a victor already, most of those being Fanboys, the lowest form of n00b.
Little prove can be said but I will clear the misconceptions I can spot, but I am not perfect.
1. Better Processor/Grapics = Better System
This one is easy to prove wrong but no one listens. The system in the current gen with more sales is the PS2 but the Xbox has better specs (and I thought the Sony Fanboys all argued that the PS3 will be better because of its specs, but if this is true then why didn’t the Xbox sell more?).
2. More Sales = Better System
I know this was from the current gen but I think this is important too, because the out come of next gen won’t really prove everything. Remember when the Xbox came out? It had to face a competitor with a year on it. A competitor that had loyalties with the Asian market, and two generations of market trust (not to mention fanboys) behind it. Dose the fact the Xbox was out sold 4 to 1 prove anything? (I personally think one of those four sales where due to the fact that I and at least thirdy people I know had to buy two more PS2s because they broke, but I am way too hard on my consoles. I think buying the new PS2s was worth it but what do I know, I make 70k a year.)
3. You think its better = Better System
I hate Fanboys...

All in all, I can not tell the future, but I won’t be a fanboy. I will buy all three, and I will not say that an inanimate object can suck the cock of another object that has no gender, nor will I not bother to try and spell things right. My Opinion WILL NEVER BE that one thing is better no matter what. I will always think before I take a side, because I am not a fanboy.

Personally, i like the xbox360 and Nintendo revolution, from what i hear the PS3 is too expensive, and i will probably be only be able to buy one system, which will most likely be the revolution. Mainly because no more reserves are being taken (as far as i know) on the x360.
I also think that nintendo will keep its reputation and make the revolution low price.

First let me say that this is an EXCELLENT idea for a forum. Second, i want to give a link which showed me how 360 was indeed maybe not more powerful than PS3, but better optimized for gaming. I do not think a more powerful system = a better system, but simply i like a system that is well optimized to handle what developers can make. (DOOM3, one of my favorites only was able to run on xbox, i want a powwerful machine that can handle such games).

doom3 is awesome, when i first played it i was extremely frightened, but then i found a shotgun and it wasn' scary anymore.
I used the link and i had no idea what they were talking about, save the gpu’s. i didn’t read the whole thing. great idea for a thread.

I am glad that companys make great games, but without the abiliy to make a game because it is too expensive to produce a game for a system with nine cores.

Not that it matters, but why should I get a PS3 if the Xbox will have all the good games in 3-6 months at nearly half the cost?

I also agree about PS3 Fan, a.k.a., PS Fan - he is the most severe fanboy, beyond redemption. I mean, the PS3 will be awesome, but there’s no need to go around belittling everyone and being heavy-handed in Sony propoganda. What he also does is often ignore people’s questions or comments and continues pasting the same posts/articles in long form across a hundred threads and rarely actually discusses things with people.
