every halo game story is the same and shallow halo 1 and 2 dont have good story lines so im not getting my hopes up for 3s story

you guys are retards! the halo story runs alot deeper than the game i just read the books and there is so much shit that happend on halo, like the gamedoesnt tell any1 that somthing like 800 people made it off the autum and that like 200 almost made it off halo. Also i calculated and figured there are a total of 7 sparts left mb eight. linda,will, fred, john ,kelly and 3 other oens that were on “other” assignment before reach fell! so beat that bitches!

hey odst that is exactly what i said the “GAMES” have shallow storys iv never read the books and i never will because im not intrested in reading books based on a video game if u wanna talk about deep storys in games...the metal gears have very deep storys

the books are actually done qutie well, worth reading and as far as i am concerned there shoudla been a spartan helpin mc in halo2....... seeing as he was with 3 others when he arrived on earth! not including kelly whos with hasley somwhwere and the 3 other sparetans on “other” missions

I think your theory is very sound ODST114. I have come to a similiar conclusion that the humans USED TO BE forerunners, but now called the reclaimers (listen to the sentinels). I assumed the arc is earth, the central point in which the humans created the halo rings. All this I found from just playing the game, so if you came to that theory from the books as well, I think that this theory will go somewhere.

by the way, there is a LOT of story in the game, you just need to pay attention and listen well.

thank god finally someone paid attention to my thoery! cuz i totally agree with what you said, ive been playing through the games alot lately and picking up tid bits of new info. we know the earth is the arc and the way i figure it, the humans built halo then werwe wiped out and a second evolution began leading to the humans now? who are now the reclaimers of the ring? in the books i also found out that the cov found earth due to forerunner scriptures, they had no idea it was the human home world, that leads me to believe the humans must have been the forerunners.

ODST114 i totally agree with the earth is the arc and the humans are the forerunners in thier old race. this is how i think halo 3 will start. master chief who was travelling in the ship will land on earth and find the prophet of truth gone to actiavte the irng. so the first level will start with u trying to stop the prophet from activating the ring and cortana has gone evil with gravemind and will try to stop the master chief.
