I’m sorry if I sent you into a rage. I never said (or implied) anything about killing, burning, hating, kkk, gays, taking away culture, being a leading authority, being God, etc., etc., etc.
In fact, I don’t want to kill anyone or send anyone to hell (nor can I do so).
And if it bothers you so much, why do you keep coming back to the forum and replying?
I have done my homework...my faith is not blind.
My question is this...why does it get you so worked up? If you are confident in what you believe then what have you to worry about? Why do my questions (not accusations) make you so mad? Be honest...I’m not trying to start a fight...I’m just trying to get others to consider some questions that I considered that really changed my life.
And another thing...aren’t you doing the same thing that you’re complaining about? You’re mad at me b/c you say I’m shoving religion down your throat (b/c I’ve merely posed some thought provoking questions) and that doing that is wrong. But YOU are cramming your “religion” of evolution/non-religion/whatever you want to call your philosophy on life/eternity at me and anyone else reading the forum saying that we should believe the way you do. I never said that...I just asked questions.
And you can’t stereotype like your last statement either. Not every “fundamentalist” “would kill every one who did not except Jesus." There’s a big difference between religion and Biblical Christianity.
I agree with you...there are many “fundamentalists” that go by all different types of organizations that do not represent what the Bible teaches about Christianity. But don’t blame God or the Bible for their actions.
And by the way...I don’t sit behind my PC...how dare you insult me! I use a MAC!!!!! (see...even us “religious” types can have a sense of humor!)

But that’s ok...I’m not trying to anger anyone. I just want people to realize that biblical Christianity is not blind faith any more than believing evolution or not believing anything at all.
The only answers you’ve given me have not been scientific but name calling - saying that religion is stupid or all Christians are fundamentalists wanting everyone to burn in hell. I’m just asking you to think, THINK! You said that evidence for evolution is (quote), “every wair. the amount of evedence could fill the simothonen a million times over." Give me an example.
I will even say that I think believing in evolution takes MORE blind faith that believing the Bible/Creation/God. Trust me - I’ve been on both sides of this thing...evolution/no god/Bible isn’t true is a dead end every time.

I think this is interesting:
The Bible consists of 66 books written by over 40 different authors from different ethnic, social and economical backgrounds, in 3 languages, in 3 different continents, and over a 1,500 year time period. And yet, when placed together, form one story (complete with very accurate historical, archiological, scientific, and anthropological facts) without contradiction.
That’s a fair amount of proof for me...proof that God had his hand in the Bible and that it is true.
Do you know of any other books that were written in this manner that tell one complete story without contradiction? Is man capable of doing this on his own?

Just because you’ve been all across the web doesn’t mean that you’ve encountered truth...I’ve seen a lot of the web too and most of it is void of anything solid and factual.
I don’t think you’re an atheist...remember...atheists don’t exist! I gathered you are an agnostic with serious doubts because of everything you’ve written. Have I misjudged you?

And these people that were writing were not colaborating with one another. They wrote as they were inspired by God. They didn’t attempt to put together a real cool story. But because God as behind it all, it all lined up.
