God in the bible sense does not exist, god is a number that we cannot count to- unobtainable. For in this world, there are limitless posibility. Things live, die, exist where no others could even hope to survive.....trying to humanize a 'god' is just man trying to make sense of it all. Scientificaly speaking, there is no way according to physics that you could get something from nothing- so the big bang theroy is out of the loop- if there are atoms with certain energy signatures, then there is the possibility that there are other realms where atomic energy may not be atomic- amy act differently- or may act in the realitive way, but totally different. It can be nither proven nor disproven at this time. God is not in the immage of man- it is god man immagines as him.......

That settles it!” we want to know it scientifically not religiously. And as it is impossible to have pure DNA you cant say there were two people.

Not to dissagree with you- aliens do fall under probability- the universe may be far older than we could immagine- a nuber we cannot count to. As for scientific arguement that the universe is expanding and then contract into nothing, that could be possible- but it would seem to me there would be no limit as of space- for it is infinite, like Pi. If there are mathematical formulas that can have a number like 3.14.....ya ya yada- it then in it’s self will never end- never reach the whole nuber of four- ever. Perhaps we are a lost civilization, placed here- I just believe that Jesus and his lord our father- not my father were just charlotains- bull shit- there are religions far older than those two. And if man was created by god in the garden- then why in the fuck, was god not seen by the first people on earth? It was bull shit and it didn’t happen- the Bible is media of ancient proportions. Perhaps the Covnant off Halo would more believeable.

But it is my understanding that the universe is shaped like a donut. and as such folds in on its self. so your right there is a finite amount of space in this universe! but there are also mutable Universes strung together like a chine! that folds infinity on its self living no space between the other universes.

but there is another theory that says that the universe is like a solar system and we are all floating around a giant star or black hole. and this universe along with an unlimited amount of others is flouting around another bigger star and so on and so on.

So like THGTTG says the population of the universe is 0 because there are an infitent amount of plaints but only a finite amount of them can sustain life. and so any finite number divided by infinity is so close to zero that it make no odd so anyone you see are nothing more then a figment of a deranged imagination! witch also dues not exist!

but for the record I doubt serisely that anyone will ever know (that is really know) what life the universe and everything is all about. or if they do it will be shortly before they die. I take comfort in that notion because I don’t think we should know! it would take all the fun out of it! and it would also make life so amazingly boring that everyone would kill them selves!

Phil, what you are saying is mostly correct, their DNA would be “pure’er” then ours, but that again raises the subject of noah, because once again there were only a set number of people on earth because god saw it fit to kill all of em, so then the question once again becomes, how are we here, noah’s DNA would hardly be as pure as adam or eve’s, and once again he had children, and they bred with each other, and the gene pool just kept getting muddier and muddier, and yet mutations still didn’t seem to occur.

And if you dont mind, i have another question that i’ve been pondering about for a while, i had to read the bible over summer vaction for “literature” purposes, and i came across a few passages that puzzled, seeing as how i had to get that bible from the library, i’ll be paraphrasing. Alright, we all know the story of mosus and the exodus out of egypt, and the ten commandments, and all that. I noticed that one of the 10 commandments was “thou shalt not kill”, seems okay to me, makes sense. Then comes the part that i got confused about, no more than i’d say 10 pages later i ran across the famous marching around jerico and the walls falling down passage, this is what confused me, by bringing down the walls they killed hundreds if not thousands of people, then they go on to raid and pillage other villages, thereby killing more people, and they kept doing this for quite a while. My question is why is it ok for some people to kill, and others to not, or is this some kind of devine pardon from god, basically saying “i hereby give you permission to kill, pillage, rape, and do anything else in order to further your own purposes -GOD”, and if so, how can i get me one of those?

Oh, what the hell, one more question for good measure, this ones short, i promise. Ok, here it is.

Do you think that god is omnipiscent? (i.e. can see everything thats going on now, was going on long ago, and can see whats going to happen)

I haven’t forgotten about you guys...Weasel...I’m 25 years old and from Mississippi...That’s why I haven’t replied in a couple of days - Hurricane Katrina has kept me away from the computer and may be a while before I can be online regularly.

No, im not in a christian school, or taking a bible class, but i am in an advanced placement english class, and they want us to read certain parts of the bible for “literary” purposes. I say it’s a load of crap, even tried to argue that i shouldn’t have to read it, but i ended up doing it anyway, because it’s easier to submit to the ignorant and let them have their way, then challenge them intellectually and get a “because i said so” kind of response.
