Well, just work with something anyway...even if you think its a bad idea. As you start to work on it you might find ideas start to come.

Asia is pretty broad...you could focus on art, landscapes, people, manga-type stuff, whatever

They’re better then paint!

I use Gimp, but I didn’t have that for awhile either so I used sumo(the online one). It was ok, but had a few bugs in it so was frustrating to use (good idea to save your progress a lot).

Anything that uses layers is sooooooo much better then paint though.
