Invader Zim is ok, but it sickens me how many people act as if it’s the best thing ever. It’s not even close.

Invader Zim seems to think “why make laughs with clever dialog and writing when you can just throw a pig in the middle of a scene instead?"

It’s ok, but no where NEAR as good as other cartoons.

Ren and Stimpy is probably the greatest cartoon in recent times. It ranks right up there with classics like Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry.

Another great one is Ed Edd n Eddy.

And random is fine when it’s done right. Zim varies between random being done for humor and random being done for random.

For a good example of random, see “The Young Ones”.

Ren and Stimpy would be a classic..

That’s the thing... Tom and Jerry didn’t NEED talking to be great. How many cartoons nowadays would be nothing without stupid conversations and saying stuff that makes no sense? Tom and Jerry could be funny without any of that. You knew what the characters were thinking or feeling by their facial expressions, reactions, etc. That was just class.

EEnE has been going downhill lately. It’s still fun to watch, but the guy is running out of episode ideas.

actually jawbreakers didn’t play too big of a role in the show.

One of my favorite episodes is when Double D is trying to find a shower to use since his is being renovated. No scams or anything in that episode.

I like the one where they have the magical boomerang that makes you opposite of yourself..

IMO, the best episode is when they’re old.
