Okay guys all I hear about is versions of R and X!!! If this
film has two versions (the R-rated and X-rated), how much difference is there between the two.
I bought the DVD which was 131 minutes, however the Blue-ray version is 136 minutes long
I almost bought the DVD that was 131 minutes but before I did that, I wanted to check first that the DVD wasn’t “tempered” with (you know how sensitive American editors can be).
So I checked it out on the Internet (Wikipedia) and I saw there that A Clockwork Orange was 136 minutes. So I did not purchase the DVD version that was 131 minutes long because it’s obvoius it’s missing 5 minutes of footage

Then I suppose the missing 5 minutes must be the “pornographic” sex scene between those 2 young
girls and that “wacky” dude. This must explain why
this scene did not appear when I watched the film on tv.

Guys, A Clockwork Orange shouldn’t even be here in this thread, it’s not even a video nasty. The film just happens to be over rated (in terms of X-rating controversy) and I’ve
seen films far far far worse than it. Try that film that was
banned “outrite”...

Oh I know that movie, it has many alternate themes
such as Staying Alive or I Hate Your Guts!!!!
Very gruesome film, no wonder it has remained “banned” outright

Crazy Japanese.
Gross yes, but I can’t take it seriously. A mutated vagina? That’s just funny. The reason why a movie like August Underground gets me feeling disturbed is because of the sheer moral disregard and watching the suffering of the victims. Just seeing guts isn’t anything, surgeons do it all the time and they aren’t disturbing and the idea of it isn’t disturbing to me either. It’s in the emotion, not in the sheer visual.
