Umm, I would usually say Clannad but it has a bit of that “kawaii” stuff you would probably hate and you wouldn’t make it past episode one. Same with Haruhi.

You should give it a try though, at the very least.

Never can go wrong with a Gundam series unless it’s SEED,They had a good leading lady as the main character.
