its 1000 bees per hornet

(if you’ve ever seen insects fight you’d know that this is a very unfair fight)

bees are what 1/20th of the giant hornets size meaning every twenty would effectively match a wasp.given there are 1000000 bees thats 1000 per hornet which is X50 more mass that even the largest japanese giant hornet.

well the hornets are 5x the size of the bee and they don’t die when they sting you. 30 giant hornets slaughtered 30,000 european bees though 1000x more bees than the hornets like this battle is. although these are africanized bees much much meaner

Don’t African bees have dome kind of defense agaisnst Giant Hornets. I heard that they could swarm over an giant hornet and raise body temperature to kill the hornet. But this is usually done when there’s like 1 giant hornet. An entire giant hornet swarm is a different story.

“A single hornet can kill forty European honey bees in a minute and a group of 30 hornets can finish off an entire hive containing 30,000 bees in a little more than three hours."

Saw this on wikipedia. Don’t know the validity of it.

No the africanized bees don’t have that defense that’s the Japanese honey bees. but yes they can only do it if there’s only 1 hornet and then they get rid of the hornet phermone so more hornets wouldn’t find the bee hive

delete three digits.
1.000.000 vs 1.000= 1.000 vs. 1
Killer Bees takes with utter ease.

While this is true, I believe that African killer bees are more volatile than European honeybees.

Exactly.

Here’s what japanese honey bees do to defend themselves.
