Notice how small the sokyoku is now, Renji has to be at LEAST half a mile away for it to be that small in comparison to his own body. (I’m pretty certain that actual math will show that it’s over a mile, but I’m being generous with this assumption)

Next to the miraculous low-end numbers for Gotenks feat... Goku was near that number during the Vegeta saga.
Are you telling me that SS Gotenks is only a little bit faster than a non-SS, non-Kaioken, Goku?

We did extensive calculations on Gotenk’s circling of the globe in the manga and got about 20,000 mph. Can’t deny the math. Well, actually you can. But you’d end up looking stupid like Kal.

Typical human reaction speed is about 180 milliseconds. Ichigo moves too quickly for them to react, which means he’s moving faster then their reaction speeds.
Of course, the calculation is still a bit off. The distance is likely greater then half a mile and Soul Reapers are trained warriors so their reaction speed is going to be faster then normal. But it’s as close as I’m going to get.
