As retarded as Dragonball GT is, I like the idea of SSJ4 as a form through fusion (not where one character can do it by his/her self).
Anyway, do you think basic Vegito is as strong as SSJ2 Gogeta and that SSJ2 Vegito is as strong as SSJ4 Gogeta? I do; here’s why:
1. Potara earrings-says it all
2. Base Vegito was on par with Buuhan while Gogeta beat Janemba pretty easily AFTER TURNING SUPER SAIYAN;
Janemba seems marginally better than SSJ3 so I think Janemba is around Gohan/Kid Buu’s level. Super Saiyan Gogeta is better than that so he must be Buutenks level/stronger than Gohan/Kid Buu. Therefore, he’d have to go SSJ2 to be on par with Buuhan!
3. Since it’s in increments of 2, SSJ4 Gogeta would be SSJ2 Vegito level 
I’m of the Belief that Base Vegeto is a bit stronger than SSJ 3 Goku.
SSJ 2 Vegeto is probably as strong as SSJ 4 or in the same neighborhood.

3.so that means ssj2 gogeta is far superior 2 ssj3 goku
just because goku is the main character it doesnt mean his the strongest dbz character...
4.ssj3 gotenks was beating super buu whiles ssj3 goku was strugglin with kid buu who is weaker than super buu /kid buu is just more evil and staff but not stronger than super buu
5.Mystic gohan was superior 2 super buu meaning his way more powerfull than ssj3 goku
6.mystic gohan went toe 2 toe with super buu gotenks who is equal to 2 ssj3’s havin gotenks ssj3 absorbed and super buu who we already know is equal 2 ssj3

the only reason goku managed 2 slice super buu gotenks with the disc was because he had the potara which makes u way more powerfull..
the only reason buu was really powerfull was because he could regenarate..

and ssj2 gogeta was created by dance fusion which is weaker than potara + he couldnt access any higher levels coz u need 2 ppl of equal power 2 fuse so dat means it was ssj2goku + ssj2vegeta

The porta doesnt give a stronger fushion.. There is no and will allway be no scan/anima saying that it did or does.
