This might have been done before. Idk. They both fight “ima destroy the world” demons and shit so yeah.

If this is rape then let me know why.

I think the creator of DMC or someone like that said that Dante wouldn’t beat Bayonetta.

You’re correct.

This is a stomp match regardless of the creator statement.

Bayonetta can effectively stop time with a mere thought, and do so for what seems like to her nearly 10 minutes.

Dante, at best, can stop time for, at the very most, 3 minutes and 30 seconds, and that takes all of his DT Rune restoring items to do it, he cannot preform at top combat effectiveness (DT Form) while doing so, and he has to manually activate it with a hand motion.

Considering that both of them can think just as fast as the other, that means Bayonetta can stop time before he can. Additionally it is in Bayonetta’s character to start with Witch Time. Dante only pulls out time magic very rarely.

On top of that rather drastic advantage, Bayonetta can make herself semi intangible by moving into Purgatorio (an alternate dimension that overlaps with the normal world). Once there she can allow herself to be intangible (or not) to anything that is exclusively in the normal world (like Dante). So if she gets there all of his weapons are instantly useless, he cannot see her, and she can hit him with whatever she wants. He can retaliate by using the objects that are in both the normal world and Purgatorio though (battlefield objects), but it is unlikely that he could do any real damage with them as Bayo would still be invisible.

Also her base states (before you factor in her Witch Time, and thus any relativistic physics) are comparable to his. With the advantage of Witch Time and dimensional jumping... yeah. You get the picture.

She can also time travel.

Love that you use gameplay mechanics.

Dante is faster and more Durable, plus he fought better demons than Bayoneta.

Love that you use gameplay mechanics.

1) It is acknowledged that Dante cannot run around in DT mode all the time. This is shown by draining DT Runes.

2) It is acknowledged that the Bangle of Time drains Dante’s magical energy. This is shown by draining DT Runes.

3) Dante has the capacity to carry crystallized demonic energy on his person in the form of Devil Stars, which he can use to replenish his own demonic energy. This is shown by replenishing DT Runes.

4) Going by the most amount of Devil Stars he has been shown to carry, and the rate at which his magic power is consumed by the Bangle of Time, the most he is capable of it 3:30.

I don’t like how you responded to the threat of an effective TIME STOP with Dante’s ability to merely SLOW it down. QuickSilver does not stop time. Bayonetta can make the rate at which time moves effectively 0; Quicksilver cannot compete against this. Those rocks in that video never stop falling. At 0:50 they are clearly moving against while under the effect of Quicksilver. If Quicksilver stopped time they would not move.

Not only is Quicksilver unable to match the magnitude of Witch Time’s ability to slow down time, but Witch Time can also be stacked and layered on top of itself. I know it can be stacked at least twice, but I want to say there is an instance of it being layered 3 deep.

So, not only can Bayonetta make time effectively zero in a single use of Witch Time, but she can layer that repeatedly so that anyone who manages to get into that local time zone (like, say, by using Quicksilver) she can use Witch Time again, and render that time zone at relative 0 to her new local time.

Also depending on how Quicksilver and Witch Time react to each other it could screw Dante over even more. Assuming Quicksilver bumps Dante into Witch Time’s first layer, he will be on even footing till Bayo hits him with the second layer. However, in DMC3 Quicksilver nulls other local time manipulation and sends both users back to regular time. So if it reacts that way it would end up nulling the first layer of Witch Time (because DMC 3’s Quicksilver cannot move past a first layer, so it cannot be proven beyond that extent), at which point Bayonetta can just throw up two more layers of Witch Time and leave Dante at effective 0 in regular time and have a barrier of another layer of effective 0 in the form of the first layer of Witch Time, while she is running around in layer 2 moving at relativistic speed.

“Dante is faster and more Durable, plus he fought better demons than Bayoneta."

Bayonetta didn’t fight demons. She fought GOD. She won.

Hideki Kamiya, the director for DMC and Director/story writer for Bayonetta. Outright said Bayonetta would kick Dante’s ass. Lock the thread.

Yeah, Bayonetta may be stronger than Dante in a fight, but that wouldn’t stop her from completely falling for him.

There’s really only one kind of “fight” she’d want to engage him with if she ever actually met him, if you know what I’m saying.

Dante’s still alot more badass anyway, so.

Actually, when it wasn’t only Bayonetta that summoned Queen Sheba to punch Jubelieus, Jeanna also helped. I’m assuming this thread is Bayonetta vs. Dante, no jeanne, so everyone who brings up Sheba, your argument is invalid.
