At LSSJ, Broly’s Chi continued to grow over time, as opposed to SSJ3 where the Saiyan loses Chi over time, this is a distinct advantage over every other super saiyan form.
It’s written in the Saiyan genome, every thousand years a new Saiyan will be born with the capability of becoming the most powerful form of Saiyan, LSSJ.

The reason Broly was so weakened after Goku hit him was because he was hit where a blade had pieced his rib cage as an infant.
And once he went back into base from LSSJ, the most powerful Saiyan form, he lost it, his strength and the specific powers of LSSJ.
When he tried to go LSSJ again in Second Coming, his hair wasn’t green, because he had became an amalgam of LSSJ and Super Saiyan one, greatly reducing his LSSJ powers.
As an LSSJ, over time he would have became more powerful than Super Vegetto, if he stayed in LSSJ form constantly.
The world’s most powerful man means no more to Broly than the world’s most powerful termite.
It’s written in the Saiyan Genome that every thousand years a Saiyan will inherit the LSSJ form, this form is the ultimate power a Siayan can achieve, Broly has survived infanticide having his rib cage impaled by a blade, traveled across space, survived the destruction of a planet and has achieved LSSJ.
Superman would be lucky to make it through Broly’s Chi shield.

I don’t know if Supes has any power that can defeat Broly, so I might just go with Broly altogether here. Although, I might also arguably say that Broly might not have any way of damaging/killing/defeating Supes. Broly might take this, if not Supes altogether.

As an LSSJ, a Saiyan’s Chi is constantly growing, therefore a planet buster, to Broly, is nothing, but to Kal-El, it does some damage because Kal-El doesn’t have unlimited durability, not even on the sun.
Actually I take that back, Superman’s durability is constantly growing, so he might have unlimited durability, but he doesn’t have unlimited 'health' so to speak, as he takes more damage he becomes weaker, becoming more durable doesn’t erase the damage that’s already there.
Therefore Broly would kill Superman.
Goku managed to kill Broly by using every single ounce of power he had taken from the Z Senshi, and that he had already, and focused it into his punch, which hit Broly in his “weak spot."
As an infant, Broly’s ribcage was impaled repeatedly by a dagger, as he grew up, he was missing bone in his weak spot, in the particular place Goku hit Broly, there was no rib under the skin, and the whole led directly to Broly’s heart, which Goku punctured with his fist. Goku knew about this weak spot just from observing Broly’s body.
Goku is a highly intelligent fighter, something that a lot of Supes fanboys just don’t want to hear, it’s something they would find sickening if they chose to believe it, (Goku’s smarter than Superman in combat).
But if Superman does the same thing, Broly will die, although Goku struck the perfect place in this weak spot at the perfect time, another well played move on Goku’s part.
But if Broly chooses to maul Superman with Chi blasts I really don’t think Superman has a chance.
Getting back on topic...I don’t see anything Supes could defeat Broly with.

LSSJ isn’t the most powerful form.It could become the most powerful but it isn’t.

Other than the fact that current Superman is faster,stronger,more durable,and smarter than the characters who defeated Broly and since their fighting near the sun the very thing that one killed Broly in the second move and two powers up Superman...gee I wonder what could he do...
