No, the literal Japanese to english translation is, for lack f a better real word, “ravaged” by a Super Saiya-Jin. ANd King Kai says that it will be all gone if we let him continue.

The galaxy feat is contradicted in the same movie.
We see an image of every light in the galaxy going out (and in english, I believe the narrator does say that the galaxy has been destroyed), then King Kai says “It’s all gone!"
....but, Goku even goes to the South Galaxy and there are tonnes of stars in the sky, and all he sees is a wrecked planet.
I thing Broly just wrecked the galaxy’s civilized star systems up, and the dubbers saw the intro scene and thought he was literally destroying all the stars.
Now, that’s been my theory, but I’d need to see the japanese version to check it.
You still see star light even when a galaxy is destroyed, just like if you destroy a star in the sky you’ll still see it for years on earthy, intill all the light it had emmited reaches.
It looked like they all vanished in the beginning so your little thing is kinda flawed here.
According to science its true, and what about stars from other galaxies? Those still exist.

Stars dissappear at the beginning, when Goku goes there, there is lots there.
Stars from other galaxies? You can’t see stars from other galaxies with the naked eye. They converge to a single point of light. A whole galaxy would look like a star.
Now I suppose we could assume the South Galaxy is in the middle of a gigantic galaxy cluster.
Sure seems a pretty vague feat.

Well, if that’s true. That confirms my suspicions - Broly is blowing all of the civilized planets up. The first scene seems highly representational of the chaos he’s causing, rather than literal, since every star disappears. Doesn’t mean he blew up millions of stars in the blink of an eye.

By about 10 billion times? No. Broly should still have to charge some to get to supernova level (besides that, Cell’s comment is hyperbole).
Broly has never even used that level of attack in battle. Will he even use it if Thor is kicking his ass? He didn’t pull out something like that when he got raped in both movies.

Broly easily beats Classic Thor.
Let’s see. Broly died when he was sent to the sun. Thor fought inside temperature of the sun.
Did you read through whole thread? I would like you to counter Thor side argument. And bumping again when it was decided.
