There were good arguments on the other side Cid, and there were good arguments left to come. Eventually the correct character would be chosen to win, that could have been Sephiroth, who knows. A debate isn’t about winning, it’s about deciding on which character honestly wins.

Chibi made a judgement call because the Broly side of the argument was not only FLAMING but was also ignoring LOGIC and disregarding CREATOR COMMENTS.
A real debate, being judged by a real debate committee, would have called it just like chibi because of the EXTREMELY poor representation on Broly’s side. This is why the debate council for the VS forums was such a good idea. Instead of relying upon fanboys to actually not be fanboys you relied upon a small group to accurately judge a debate.
You keep debating till the fanboys leave then. Even though there fanboys, and may be horrible debaters, they still are debaters.

No. The definition of fanboy has been warped. Just because someone is a bad debater, or is stubborn, does not make them a fanboy. BBM is called a fanboy yet he isn’t. He’s just a stubborn debater.
And BBM actually has good arguments and is well educated on the subjects he is debating. Both sides.

You cannot claim victory if the debaters do not agree, even if you think there fanboys. There were no fanboys in that thread.
So, even though a Broly supporter stated the argument Cid was making was superior, and all real debates work with the superior argument as the winner, you still can’t claim victory?
Cid is a good debater, but having a good arugement doesn’t mean the debate’s over, in all honesty, you should have let that debate keep going intill it ended itself, then you lock it.
That’s funny. The only way it would have come to an end would have been if the Brolly side had more then 2 logical debaters. Let’s not forget you were the one saying Jenova couldn’t survive something it already survived once.
There were good arguments on the other side Cid, and there were good arguments left to come. Eventually the correct character would be chosen to win, that could have been Sephiroth, who knows. A debate isn’t about winning, it’s about deciding on which character honestly wins.
