Gin wins.He is more than likely faster and his zanpakuto would really mess over itachi.

Itachi doesn’t necassarly use that at the start of the fight and Gin would probably speedblitz him.

Gin Ichimaru wins on brute power alone

Gin Ichimaru is stronger than normal ichigo and we know ichigo has super human strenth even in his normal human body and then when he becomes a soul reeper its greatly inhenced making him so strong then with the controll of his spirit energy can encrease his strenth itachi would be pwned

Hard to telll. Itachi has the Sharingan, but Shinso is pretty damn deadly. We don’t even know what his Bankai is.

Hah... Itachi could kill Shishui that has Shunshin no jutsu... at gin face each other Itachi could cast genjutsu and trap him in itachi world and torture him with tsukuyomi... we all see that Itachi could dodge sasuke attack even sasuke using his shunshin...

Deidara exp Itachi genjutsu... When they meet each other Itachi cast genjutsu with Deidara didnt realize that but it was too late for him... at the beginning Itachi cast genjutsu but not Tsukuyomi... Sharingan has powerfull genjutsu... By looking his eyes even more powerfull... looking at Itachi that will bad for Gin...

Itachi always using genjutsu during the fight... and use ninjutsu after that... the limitations of Itachi is his chakra... if he had kyuubi his mangekyou even more powerfull... he can cast amaterasu and tsukuyomi even more powerfull... at normal chakra he can take out his entire clan... with kyuubi even more terfiying... We never seen Itachi using Susanoo or the god of storm... Amatersu would be enough for gin...

Theres a thing required to use Genjutsu called chakra.Gin doesn’t have such a thing.You can’t say all living things have Chakra because Gin isn’t alive.

And Genjutsu can’t work on does without it.

also note that Itachi’s eyesight gets worse each time he uses Mangekyo Sharingan.. at least thats what Kakashi said..

I’m gonna guess Gin wins since he keeps his eyes closed most of the time, he would have no problem with Itachi’s Sharingan.
