lol God Kratos is immortal, and (referring to GoW2) he’s 4 Gods combined (God of War with Zeus'/Poseidon’s/Hades' power). If Dark Samus can be defeated by Samus, what more if it’s a Greek God?

I know, but what I was talking about is god power. Why can’t god power be stronger than Phazon? Phazon is a radioactive substance. God power is...god power.

And this means what? Nothing. God power is relitive. Raiden from MK also has “God Power"

Yeah, it is a weakness, but we are talking about mixing universes here, right? Note that Phazon is powerful enough to affect Dark Samus. So what you guys are saying is that anything else more powerful than Phazon can’t affect Dark Samus?

She is smarter then Kratos dude... she wouldint let it happen and go intangable...
And she would put up her shield that deflects attacks... and counter attack...

Can’t Phazon penetrate her Phazon Shield?
Provide me evidence or soemthing that nothing, even more powerful than Phazon, can affect her but Phazon.
And how can you really say she’s smarter than Kratos (battle-wise)? Kratos is trained to be a warrior, by the God of War himself.
Yeah ik that...
and dark samus has the genes and dna of samus who infact is a expert at bounty hunting... and is trained by the Chozo... Who were rough with her.. at least they were in the manga..
I dont have proof im sorry.. but its my assumtion that DS is smarter..
and for the Weakness thing i have no proof ither =/
But i do know this , Ds was Much Quick then kratos ,because she deflects missles..
The reason Phazon affects Dark Samus is because it overloads and disrupts her form. Kratos could potentially try and fire it back at her with (I believe) the golden fleece, among other things he has, but even against Phazon energy, Dark Samus takes quite a bit. (prime 3) Things like her scattershot beam also don’t help the fact that he could miss one in an attempt to fire back and get hit.
As for normal weaponry, she can generate shielding that protects her from most non-phazon damage. If normal weapons do have some sort of effect otherwise, it would be very little; at the end of prime 2, powerful weapons, such as the sonic boom, do comparatively less damage compared to the phazon charged attacks by a significant amount. As said before, she can take a significantly larger amount of phazon attacks in prime 3, so in a matter of scaling, those attacks from prime 2 would do practically nothing.
I would say, as far as intelligence goes, neither are smarter than the other. Both have led armies; Dark Samus can brainwash and created an army with this, while Kratos was a famous military leader I believe, and both know how to use their abilities. Speed-wise I believe Dark Samus has the better speed and mobility overall, being able to fly and whatnot with ease.
As far as the corruptive abilities of Phazon, I don’t know what exactly they would do to Kratos. I count in the fact that he can regenerate, but what that can do to his mind is a different story, whether Dark Samus can brainwash him or mentally attack him or something of the sort. After all, I count in the fact that Phazon has the ability to corrupt planets. There is also, of course, the Echoes that Dark Samus can make, that are basically clones of her, albeit easier to kill, which can give her an added bonus on numbers.
Unfortunately I do say this without complete, 100% infallible knowledge of Kratos' weapons and whatnot, so much of what I say is at least a little speculative.
Kratos is a god. He isn’t bound by any of Dark Samus rules. If he wants to destroy her then he will do so. He will just waltz right in front of whatever attacks she throws at him and simply disembowel her. She wont be able to take him over, his rage and will would prevent that from happening. And remember, his rage and will were enough to allow him to escape from hades TWICE when he died, it also snapped him out of Ares illusion.

Kratos wins this.
Zeus still bleeds, and the Olympic Gods still die, so I don’t really see what reasoning there is to say that Dark Samus' “rules” can simply be overruled just because he is labelled as a “god."
I also don’t honestly see how a being comprised completely of energy and a radioactive substance can be disembowelled.
Comparatively, in terms of will-power, Dark Samus has reformed herself from particles and having her form disrupted.
Also, I was unsure if what Ares did to Kratos was an illusion or not, but if it is, I believe that shows that his mind is still, at least a little, suspect to mental attacks. So far as I knew, it was actually in another dimension, though that is reading off a wikipedia article and I thus did not know for certain.

You would have a point, only Zeus doesn’t die from those fierce blows from Kratos in full blown god mode, but they would have killed him. And Ares was also a god, the god of war. I’d say its pretty impressive over coming an illusion from a god. Again though, the gods in GOW fight on a higher level than anything in Metroid. You want proof? Take a look at that Samus vs Kratos topic. I posted a bunch of videos showcasing the powers of the gods in GOW. Dark Samus does not posses the power to kill a full blown god Kratos. She doesn’t. And I defy anyone in here to prove otherwise.

Ik.. so simple “cuting” a arm off of dark samus she will re-grow it....with her metroid side.

Nope. Kratos isn’t going to be taken over by anything or anyone. He overcame an illusion from the god of war ares, he escaped from hades TWICE, and he defeated the sisters of fate and overcame his own destiny. Dark Samus isn’t taking over anything.

And, I never did say Zeus died. In fact I know he survived, though relatively weakened. The point was that he bleeds. Yes, he does have a great amount of power, but that does not automatically overrule him from effects of things such as Phazon that have corrupted (poisoned) planets.
EDIT: As for the illusion thing, that’s coming from the God of War, not the God of Illusions. Ares' primary function as the God of War was destruction, not hypnotism or illusions, so it isn’t as impressive as if it had come from a being that focused primarily on illusions.
