I see One Piece being on par with early dbz but not Goku at his prime. The only argument they have is that golden ball thing, an it was never said to be pure gold, and it’s speculation how much they weighed. If Luffy was in the 700 ton range or whatever, He would do far more damage than I have seen him do, even if he was stronger physically, Goku is way more expirenced and faster than Luffy is.

Dude! No way! Luffy can lift 700 tons! The most any DBZ character did was about 50 tons! And Vegeta was struggling with it!!!!

About 50 tons. But that’s assuming Vegeta weighs about 250 lbs. He’s short but muscular!

Also, in Buu saga Goku struggles with 40 tons.

In GT, SSj4 struggles to lift a building.

The only thing One Piece has that I have seen, is Zoro saying he uses air molocules that go lightspeed to use his light speed attack, other than that, I don’t recall anything about Luffy being able to lift 700 tons.
Sure you can calculate, but I’m sure if it was that much it would have at least been mentioned.

Apparently Luffy can lift 714, while Goku can lift from 200-1,000 in base form.

Once again, Vegeta struggles with about 50 in base form. Goku has some trouble with 50 in Buu. In GT, SSJ4 struggles with a building.
