don’t forget hercules, he was able to hold the world on his shoulders, went and survived the underworld, defeat cerberus, fougth with the gods against the giants, defeat the dragon that guards the apple of zeus.
so i see the greeks winning espicially if we had the demi-gods.
He didn’t hold the world on his shoulders, he held the sky (a common mistake). And it obviously show’s that he is no stronger than Atlas (and Atlas wasn’t know for his strength). Hercules was merely human with god strength. In Norse Mythology, four Dwarves hold up the sky, each at a different corner. Also, Cerberus was to keep human’s out, not gods (still quite a feat for mortal Hercules, but Cerberus easily succumbs to god strength)
The other challenge was to drink all the mead from a small horn, but Thor didn’t know that the horn was attached to the ocean. Thor drank so much that it caused the tides to be created...
Lifting the Cat
In one, Thor encounters the serpent, who is disguised as a colossal cat by the giant king Útgarða-Loki. As one of the tasks set by Útgarða-Loki, Thor must lift the cat; though he is unable to lift such a monstrous creature as Jörmungandr, he manages to lift it far enough that it lets go of the ground with one of its four feet. When Jörmungandr is revealed by Útgarða-Loki, the lifting is counted as an impressive deed.
Odin tossed Jörmungandr into the great ocean that encircles Midgard. The serpent grew so big that he was able to surround the Earth and grasp his own tail. Just show’s you how strong Odin is.
Thor’s fishing trip
Another encounter came when Thor went fishing with the giant Hymir. When Hymir refused to provide Thor with bait, Thor struck the head off Hymir’s largest ox to use as such. They rowed to a point where Hymir often sat and caught flat fish, where he drew up two whales. Thor demanded to go farther into the water, and did so despite Hymir’s warnings.
Thor then prepared a strong line and a large hook, which Jörmungandr bit. Thor pulled the serpent from the water, whereupon the two faced one another, Jörmungandr dribbling poison and blood. Hymir went pale with fear, and as Thor grabbed his hammer to kill the serpent, the giant cut the line, leaving the serpent to sink beneath the waves. This was after the serpent had grown long enough to wrap around the world.
I don’t know what you think Poseidon could do to Thor... And yes, they can beat old age, they dine regularly on Apples of Immortality. Also, Odin and Hel are the Norse gods of death. One more thing that Odin is, remember he is the god of wisdom, war, battle, and death, and also magic, poetry, prophecy, victory, and the hunt.
And IF simply being the god of “whatever” means they have ultimate control of “whatever”, then because he is also the god of Victory, then he automatically wins no matter what... As you can tell, this isn’t exactly fair. Pick your battles...

pffft, explain how when Odin apparently solos the Greeks. He’ll just bind them all and drop them in Hel to be molested by a half rotten bitch queen. Considering that, Zeus might even go willingly, he’d never pass up a good time.

ok, hela would rape most of them alone, specially athena. did people forget that gaia is thor’s mother(power of earth). posiden wouldn’t kill thor, loki would put enchantments on them with enchantress right behind him. hades and zeus will be left to fight odin, hela, thor, and odin’s brothers. zeus would sleep with athena during the fight, hercules would get owned by balder, and thor.
n ancient Greek mythology, ambrosia (Greek: ἀμβροσία
is sometimes the food, sometimes the drink, of the gods, often depicted as conferring ageless immortality upon whoever consumes it. It was brought to the gods in Olympus by doves (Odyssey xii.62), so may have been thought of in the Homeric tradition as a kind of divine exhalation of the Earth.
Ambrosia is very closely related to the gods' other form of sustenance, nectar. The two terms may not have originally been distinguished;[1] though in Homer’s poems nectar is usually the drink and ambrosia the food of the gods; it was with ambrosia Hera “cleansed all defilement from her lovely flesh” (Iliad xiv.170), and with ambrosia Athena prepared Penelope in her sleep (Odyssey xviii.188ff) so that when she appeared for the final time before her suitors, the effect of the years had been stripped away and they were inflamed at the sight of her. On the other hand, in Alcman, nectar is the food, and in Sappho (fragment 45) and Anaxandrides, ambrosia is the drink.[2] When a character in Aristophanes' Knights says, “I dreamed the goddess poured ambrosia over your head— out of a ladle”, the homely and realistic ladle brings the ineffable moment to ground with a thump.
this is for the greeks who think they have straight immortality, here’s the help.
greek gods actually aren’t immortal. they’re able to be killed by titans who were true immortals or typhus as well.

Talking about just mythology. No comic ripoffs.

Lawl, and Odin through a serpent in the ocean that could wrap around the world. What’s your point? Typhoon would be a joke to Odin. Odin killed a frost giant so big that he created the entire world out of him.
And also, Zeus just buried Typhoon under a mountain by causing it to fall on him. Typhoon is considered to still be alive. None of Zeus' feats even come close to matching Odin slaying the Giant Ymir and making the world out of his body.

I’ve already proven Odin’s superiority over Zeus by feats alone. Zeus had trouble with a mountain sized Snake monster, while Odin Tossed the World Serpent into the ocean with ease, and also killed a world sized giant with no known problems.
Odin wins this over and over again.

Not all the Frost Giants were as big as Ymir, most were mountain sized (some smaller, most a bit bigger)
But Ymir (the father of Frost Giants) would simply eat Typhoon and the Hundred-Handers, if he didn’t just step on them...
