Sometimes its hard to tell a character’s intended
ability if you dont know them, and it is hard to
distinguish inconsistency from consistent feat if
you dont know the character’s intended ability.
Stories with many writers tend to have
inconsistent and/or ridiculous feats here and
there due to a writer’s lack of understanding or
stupiity. To avoid having these inconsistent
feats in debates, there should be at least 2-3
pieces of evidence given to prove a feat for a
character that has many writers, a very
long/broad story line, or is know to be “all over
the place” with his/her feats. This rule should
not apply for short, straight forward stories
with a single writer, for all character feats are
coming from a single mind and therefore are
intended. There are many characters that are
made out to be more powerful than intended here
and this rule will fix that I hope.
Well, I think it’s quite humorous when Superman fanboys say Superman only lost to a Booster Gold knockoff because of plot stupidity, but plot stupidity had no baring on him flying out of a double black hole or surviving having two planets pushed into him, or something similarily retarded.

Roshi yes, Piccolo no. And DBZ has 1 writer, not like tons of diverse writers, so the powers of the characters all all intended to be that way, while there are characters from multiple writer story lines that have some crazy outlires that need to be gotten rid of. It leads to the over dramatization of characters when only the outlires and high-end feats are used. We need to use the consistant feats, and that is at least an occurance of 2-3 times, not a stand alone instance.

Superman has escaped a blackhole on two occasions, so they count.
