Is Vegito/Gogeta underestimated?

I mean obviously they’re no Beyonder, but I think at full power they could easily be on the level of Dark Schneider, Superman, Silver Surfer, or Thor. Maybe even more powerful. I mean sure guys on their level are far beyond DBZ fighters, but Vegito was beating the hell out of the strongest DBZ villain, in his strongest form, as a piece of candy. Obviously the Goku-Vegeta fusion are far more powerful than any of the other Db characters. We never saw Vegito get serious, he was holding back against Buu waiting to be absorbed so he could free the ones who were absorbed, so we don’t know what he’s capable of.

In some ways, but the Marvel and DC guys are ridcolous. My point is we have no clue how powerful Vegito really is. I mean how many other characters could beat Buu up as candy?

Yes, I know what you mean. Although he and other characters do get seriously underestimated. Mainly because of the whole Goku vs Superman bullshit.

I agree, especially since they have very few feats to back up what they can do. I think Goku by himself is underestimated especially the anime version let alone the fusions.

I think they do but they lack specific feats to give a clear answer. One of many problems with just the way DBZ was made. Common sence says Goku for example should be leagues above mystic Gohan (for example) since he was training for 10 years preparing for Buu’s coming but feats say nothing at all.

ppl always tell me that the canonity of my facts is wrong, that the times he’s put as stronger doesnt count, in BOTH the SERIES and the NOVEL, and stuff like how the games datasheets dont tell the truth, as well how after akire did his interview where he 'said' gohan waas the 'strongest'...ppl tell me HE was lying when he did the 2nd interiew AFTERWARDS with and for the 2nd daizenshuu, and said that NOTHING was stronger in giving characters power liek the SUper Saiyan transformation.. in the series(was talking abotu the strongest gains of power).......

of course, off that interview, i’d put GOkuSS3 better off than SS3 GOtenks and CHou GOhan....

It doesn’t matter, common sense doesn’t put them in Surfer’s league. Common sense would show you how much they are below him.

Absolutely Darth. But at the same time Vegitto and Gogeta can be seriously overestimated too.

Gogeta couldn’t beat Surfer, Apocalypse, or Galactus, but a LOT of people really really passionately believe they could.

They are probably overestimated and underestimated, just like Superman.
