Misa chooses and reveals the identity of a mare vagrant,

Then by writing their names in their death note’s and coordinating the event’s of their lives Misa has the Vagrant have a nervous break down and completely believe he is Kira in an effort to give his life some meaning.

1. Light then has the costume designer construct a suit completely identical to Lelouchs and take it to the vagrant who then is made to wear it via instruction’s.

(The Vagrant believing he is Kira thinks he is orchestrating things and has a master plan to force Zero to reveal his identity and is therefore using the designer as his puppet).

Light then give’s the reporter a hot tip that Zero will have an exclusive interview with him/her on the Kira case and to come alone and notify no one and give’s the time and location of the Vagrant now dressed as Zero and the Costume designer.

Misa has the Vagrant under the impression he is Kira remove his helmet revealing his face while being filmed by the reporter he then explains that he is Kira and as a demonstration kill’s the costume desighner with what appear’s to be nothing more than a thought.

(In reality Light has wrote for the designer to suffer one of Kira’s signature heart attacks, however both the vagrant and reporter would be none the wiser).

Controlling the reporter and Vagrant Light and Misa have them record a tape with Fake Kira/Zero’s demand’s witch last’s a running time of Aprox 3 minute’s, witch the reporter then take’s back to the press suffering a fatal heart attack upon arrival at the studio at 8:30PM

2. The video has the list of the next 12 victim’s (including Light and Misa) with clear detail’s on how and when each one will die it is to be aired at 9PM and not to be given to any authority’s or else the families of the staff will be held personally responsible and suffer the consequences.

(The person’s 1-4 are actually already in the death note and instructed not to watch T.V or answer any call’s during the time until the time of their death’s).

3. Light has himself placed as number 6 on the list with Misa being number 5 number’s 1-3 are all told to kill themselves every minute from the film being broadcast and are spaced out carefully across the globe at least a 1 hour flight away from Zero’s location.

(Light himself obviously has himself Misa and number’s 7-12 stricken from the actual death note and would have himself and Misa working closely with Lelouch at the time the video is broadcast to the world also writing that 3 minute’s into the broadcast they themselves would shoot Zero dead with no mercy due to his apparent guilt).

4. With the Tape’s release The manhunt for Lelouchs head would then ensue the nation’s and official’s demanding his arrest or for him to reveal his Identity to the public immediately to clear his name.

5. Light and Misa Then proceed to shoot Lelouchs dead, merely insisting they had not the time to consider his innocent’s when not only their lives but other’s were at stake every minute from the broadcast.

The 4th name upon the list would be eventually revealed as the vagrant who is now thought to be Kira, with a note stateing Kira is now beyond Flesh and bone.

A major flaw in that argument is that Light is not going to know Lelouch=Zero instantly and befriend him on the spot. Furthermore, Lelouch is not an idiot. He won’t get caught easily due to his secretive nature and 'staying behind the scenes,' which is extremely similar to Light. And, Lelouch has the power to basically manipulate his surroundings in a more potent way than Light. Light is simply not going to win.

If he were given prep time Light would almost be guaranteed victory.
If they weren’t given prep time Lelouch would have the upper hand if KIRA had been announced to the world previously. Now if KIRA has been found out, like oh noz someone had a heart attack! It’s KIRA! Then yea, Light would have a hard time and would have a 3/10 chance of victory. Also, Lelouch every so often has a brilliant idea just to shoot the guy instead of have a huge internal struggle.

Lelouch must deal with his opponent’s directly with his ability Light however can use his at his own pace, This is why discovering Light would be much harder he is a normal individual who happens to have brilliant detection skill’s and attention to detail witch come’s from having a father who is in law inforcement he could simply have Ryuuk follow Zero undetected to discover his identity if need’s be.

Yes Lelouch has a great ability witch is why im afraid it wouldn’t go unnoticed, Light has statistically a much better chance of noticing people’s arctic behavior change around Lelouch than Lelouch douse of noticing Light as he is a completely different person around other people just ur every day 18yr old teenager.

Thus statistically Light hold’s a great advantage here and enough freedom for his plan to work.

Same can be said for Lelouch. And while Lelouch needs to see his opponent’s directly, it has a LOT more potential than Death Note could ever hope to have.

No. Causing death of people is much more notice-able than brainwashing people to do your bidding. And Lelouch’s brainwashing ability is not restricted by time, whereas Light’s victims will die in a certain amount of time. Light is more likely to arouse suspicion.

once he’s Zero, there is no way of guessing who he really is in Lights mindset. Especially that lelouch has made Zero’s character into a symbol, that could be anybody.

Lelouch has all the resource in his hands, he could come out in the open as Zero and not give a shit about kira.

Kira on the other hand has to hide, and doesn’t have much. A deathnote with limits, I don’t think ryuk wouldn’t even help him beat lelouch. Misa is too stupid, Lelouch would just be able to use her to trace Kira.

There’s no way of knowing who Zero is by hacking, because how’d the hell would kira know who he is from the first place?(some idiot posted about this awhile back, saying kira would just search lelouch’s picture and blah blah blah).

Any baits Kira will or would use, won’t lure out Lelouch, because kira doesn’t have anything really, using a bait would just help lelouch trace it back to him.

as I said, Ryuk doesn’t give a damn about Kira, kira is just an amusing entity to ryuk. Hell, if ryuk got more interested in Lelouch, he probably WOULD leave kira behind.

Same can be said with Lelouch being able to do things in his own pace, even better actually. He could read how people would behave and act as re-action to what he’s going to do. proven when he was talking with schneizel, Lelouch read schneizel’s entire personality and recorded a video that had set into a conversation with schneizel.
