I think playing a song is a very bad strategy for Link. Zero can have Link in pieces in the time it takes to put the Ocarina to his lips.

Also, it should be mentioned that Zero has much greater durability than Link. In Mega Man Zero 3, he survived a multi-megaton explosion from a top the delivery missile during the story. He was riding the nuke, attempting to stop it as the weapon struck its target! Does Link have a comparable durability feat?

Link has survived being eaten and chewed up by a giant fish trampled on by a giant bull. Stood in front of zelda being burned by twinrova’s fire which is a normally fatal expeirence. He’s been frozen alive. Stepped on strangled by a water demon. And wasn’t hurt very much at Ganons blows which easily shattered pieces of hyrule castle. And he has a pet dragon. And need I remin people Zero died from a small explosion in the original megaman X.

I know of someone who could defeat both of them.

He died because he self-destructed to save X.
