Both worlds collide and must fight for superiority. All characters, armies, lands, societies, and creatures from each book series are permitted as long as they are actually still existing and/or apart of the story. Legends and old gods/monsters that are only mentioned but never encountered are not allowed.
Wheel of time is also going to have to deal against the Ainur, powerful beings that sang the universe into creation. Each one is was created out of Iluvatar’s (basically, God or the One Above All in Lotr) mere thoughts, reside in the timeless halls (thus, are outside time itself), and are easily endowed with cosmic knowledge. This is an actual race of beings, might I add.

That’s especially true, seeing as Sauron, one of the Maiar, a race that was below the Ainur, could curb stomp Rand.
This isn’t to say that Rand isn’t powerful. As The Dragon he is the strongest male Aes Sedai and along with some of the powerful Sa’Angreal, he could to a TON of damage.
But you have to remember that you have the Wizards, each of which was as strong, if not stronger than Sauron (They were limited by the fact that God told them they couldn’t DIRECTLY fight against Sauron, so they were only allowed to deal with his followers.) Along with the Palantir, the Wizards could probably match, if not destroy the male Aes Sedai.
Now what would be difficult would be an Aes Sedai Circle. You get enough Male and Female casters together and you could have a HELL of a strong destructive force.
I’m pretty sure almost any of the male channelers in WOT could ass rape Gandalf and any of the other wizards. The magic users in LOTRs used very slow magic. Calling down lightning upon enemies would probably make the wizards nearly destroy themselves, since their magic is directly linked to their life force. They are more about using magic intelligently rather than brutely. The WOT channels can use magic that directly affects and effectively deals death on a small to medium scale (and thats just when they are alone). Also can’t forget how numerous all the channelers are in Randland.
On a side note, do you think Sauron would stand a chance against Rand wielding the Choedan Kal (the giant statue sa’angeals buried in the ground)? for some reason I just see Sauron’s entire Citadel, fortress, and mountain being vaporized.
(Sorry to bump this thread, but I’m reading through the series again to get ready for the last book due out in Nov.)
Those Sa Angreal that are legendary and allow you to absolutely ass rape continents would give them win, especially with Lanfear on the woman’s one. Plus the Shai' Tan. I love the book reference though, I love that series lol.

Scared Marly into locking a debate I was winning. Hell yeah.
I have to say if you just take the normal characters form the first 3 lord of the rings books WOT wins hands down because of the characters god like powe in the last few books, but if you take the simirilian into consideration you have God (iluvitar) all his children (anur or how ever u spell it) and there servents on ea (the valar or how eve ru spell it, dont have the book on hand) then you effectivly have 3 races of imortals not to mention all the balrogs, all the races of elves, who now pritty much live with the valar, that pritty much discovered a way to use and weild certain types of magic and the fact that the wizard in lord of the rings can see and plan far into the future i think Lord of the rings would win this hands down.
