Lucifer and Michael are evenly matched and second only to “God”. Their powers combined surpass God. Even Elaine could probably solo this battle.

plus i’ve yet to see in the comics where lucifer and michael are omnipotents, there hard to defeat, but that those not make them omnipotent.

He gave Michael fight of his life.
He separated DC and Marvel universes at crossover.
He and Living Tribunal combined and separated DC and Marvel Universe(Amalgam brothers.)

Their 2 abilities make them virtually omnipotent because there isn’t anything they CAN’T do. We have yet to see any feats from “God”. The Presence + Great Evil Beast is the only thing that could destroy Samael and Michael combined.

you dont get it do you, it doesnt matter how much they combine there powers, they cant beat an omnipotent.

omnipotent means unbeatable

God is the supreme being in vertigo and dc, his the one above all else.

michael and lucifer are not omnipotent do to the fact they both died atleast once.

Some crossovers are cannons. Like Amalgam series, it was later rectonned as cannon. Otherwise, we can’t use LT holding two megaverses in his hand.

I can understand the point of The immortal WatchDog. On the other hand Marvel is inconsistent after so many years of comics and different writers.

There have been beings more powerful than LT, for example Pre retcon Beyonder who was literally stated to be omnipotent in the comic and had the back up of the writer, still many people ignore it, and it’s retconned anyway.

Heck even in DC you have this crap. The Presence might not be omnipotent, I’m not sure either. Yahweh....

But what we do know is, Scathan defeated someone that even the LT couldn’t, whether Scathan had the back up of TOAA, is uncertain, since it’s also not stated in the comic. Till it’s retconned or explored more in a different comic, it can’t be counted wrong if people say that Scathan is above LT, I guess.
