Not really, steel is pretty much like tissue paper to Spartans but thier max is only 2-4 tons. Fiction writers really dont think about this stuff.

Bullets pierce steel, they dont produce 100 tons of force on impact.

Well luffy is made of rubber and has haki shield/force. I don’t see why he couldn’t leave him foaming at the mouth. Although thor has some pretty good reaction feats and durability feats so I don’t know....
