Their strength is about equal and they can both output quite a bit of firepower. Astroboy’s firepower drains him when he really pours it on, however, while Mega Man has an infinite supply. Mega Man’s ceramic-titanium armor seems to be more durable than Astroboy’s titanium skin. On the other hand, Astroboy can fly pretty darned fast.

I really don’t know who takes this. Gut says Mega Man, but Astro can pull some wins too.

True. Taking down robots the size of buildings is like Tuesday morning for the Blue Bomber. Mega Man’s physical strength is on par with Astro Boy’s famed “100,000 horsepower”. He’s demonstrated it in Mega Man 5, 6 and in Mega Man: The Power Fighters. You don’t see it often because Mega Man has always been a platform shooter, not a fighting game.

Astro Boy could still take some wins. He can deliver some high impact energy and can fly.

I’d really have to go with Mega-Man. I think that the fact the Mega has a basically unlimited supply of ammo anda good aim, plus he can charge it into a huge blast, definitely gives him an edge. Also, as others have pointed out, Mega has a good amount of strength in him that rivals Astro’s “100,000 horsepower."

The one big advantage that Astro has is that he can fly but the fact the. Also, while his other powers, like the machine guns that pop out of his BUTT(seriously Tezuka! What were you thinking!?) are nice and helpful Astro has to fire kinda blind. His other ones however like his light up eyes are no good in a fight. Also, like others have noted, Astro ends up using a lot of power when in combat.

In the end however, I don’t see why the two of them would be fighting in the first place. More likely they would have a Super-Robot Team Up to stop Dr. Wiley who has been going to different dimensions ending up in Astro’s dimension with Mega-Man right on his tail.
