It’s come to my attention that for every debate there are conflicting feats that seem to cancel one another out and make debating much more difficult. I propose a few new terms to be added to debates that could help to clear the air a bit:
High Feat: The most 'impressive' feat in whatever category, be it strength, speed, etc. is what counts as the 'official' feat. That means if you find feats of a character that are weaker than the current 'official' feat, they should be thrown out as they are not the High Feat. The typical argument style for this type of debate would be providing positive proof for your own character.
Low Feat: The most 'depressing' feat in whatever category, be it strength, speed, etc. is what counts as the 'official' feat. That means that if you find feats of a character that are stronger than the current 'oficial' feat, they should be thrown out as they are not the Low Feat. The typical argument style for this type of debate would be providing negative proof for your opponents character.
Average Feat: The High Feat and the Low Feat in whatever category averaged together in whatever category, be it strength, speed, etc. is what counts as the 'official' feat. The typical argument style is a mixture of providing positive proof for your own character and providing negative proof for your opponents character.
Mathematical Proof: Feats can be proven using mathematical formula’s and extrapolation. This should lend itself towards extrapolation of events using known boosts to figure out 'peak' performances.
Implication Proof: Feats can be implied based on the text or context of images or video’s. If one character states that another is moving at the speed of light, then it should be accepted that the character is moving at that speed. This should lend itself best to being used for High, Low and Average Feat style debates.
Physical Proof: Feats must be shown explicitly to be true. This means that if a character is shown to lift a building, you cannot extrapolate various 'power increases' on top of that lifted, building. It is exactly what it looks like it is. This should lend itself best to being used for High, Low and Average Feat style debates.
Individual Proof: Feats must be proven on an object by object basis. That means if one character is shown physically lifting a city, the other must also be shown physically lifting a city. This should lend itself towards a lot more nitpicking about specific images.
