It is approaching midnight, the sky is a dark blue color, and there is pouring rain outside the temple. The setting is the temple in the picture below:
The clothing of his Order uniform flapped slightly in the breeze as the Frenchman Ky Kiske walked into the temple. It was his second fight in this competition, and it would be his opponent’s first time. The entire reason for him being in this competition would be Ky’s opponent, and teammate, Sol.
As rain and thunder sounded outside, Ky almost felt at home in the temple; a quiet and serene holy place, granted it’s poor state of affairs. Standing in the centre design in the carpet, he knelt down on his knees, facing the crossed swords and organ-like instrument above. Quietly placing Fuuraiken to his side, he withdrew a gold cross from an inner pocket in his uniform and held it to his forehead, silently praying no blood would be shed and no hard feelings created as a result of this duel.

Sol walked up to the doors to the temple. He knew that inside, there was a battle waiting. Rain had drenched him, making his brown hair sag down and his red and white uniform cling to him. His monster of a sword had little waterfalls cascading down its sides. In his ears, he had headphones, from which Killer Queen blared.
Stepping through the open doors and into the temple, he saw his devout opponent kneeling in prayer. As he did this, Sol took the opportunity to dry off in silence. Removing his headphones and stowing them inside his jacket, he shook his head, sending a small shower of water droplets falling to the floor. He then began to advance towards Ky. His footsteps, although muffled by the carpet, echoed softly through the temple. He held his sword ready to block if Ky decided to take the initiative.
As footsteps sounded in the temple and Sol began to move forward, Ky drew the cross away from his forehead and quietly slipped it back into his pocket. Taking the uncharged Fuuraiken in his right hand, he rose from his feet and turned counterclockwise to face his opponent. Ky stood with his left foot forward, his left hand resting on his body slightly above his hip, and his sword loosely pointed toward the ground. A single, particularly bright flash of lightning shot just outside the temple, illuminating the apparent stare-down between the two.
“Here is to a good match,“ Ky said with a slight French accent and very small yet slightly noticeable smile, showing the truth with and behind his words. His left hand slipped down and grabbed the hilt of Fuuraiken beneath his right while his head lowered to look at the ground. At the same instant, his body was enveloped in a blue flashing sphere of light, making his form barely visible among the electricity that seemed to dance within the sphere. As several bolts of lightning flew into the temple and struck the sphere, apparently without any harm, Ky’s feet parted roughly shoulder length and bent slightly, lowering his body roughly half a foot. The sphere collapsed in on itself, and the remaining electricity arcing around Ky’s uniform appeared to wrap itself around the blade of Fuuraiken, dancing from its tip to the bubble-like crossguard.
Resting a good portion of his weight on his back foot and raising his head to look at his opponent with a slightly tensed and focused look, Ky took his traditional fighting stance; his left foot rested forward, his right hand held Fuuraiken above eye level, pointing it toward his left hand, and his left hand, with arm mostly bent, was roughly at the same level as his shoulder, easily ready for a jab. He seemed to stand somewhat on his toes, appearing to very slightly move between his legs, as if constantly switching his weight from his back foot to both feet. Although potentially tiring for others to do, Ky had used this stance nigh constantly and had grown extremely accustomed to it. It kept him light on his feet at all times, ready to move when necessary or plant his feet to hold his ground, and his arms were positioned to attack or block to his comfort.

Sol stood with his arms crossed watching Ky’s display. He still gripped his wall of a sword in his right hand. As the lightning flew into the temple, he felt the heat radiate through the air. He didn’t flinch.
“This will be interesting,“ Sol replied. As he spoke, a sudden jet of fire erupted all around Sol’s body. The longer parts of his jacket and his hair flew upwards with the force of the flames, then settled back down. Stepping his feet apart, Sol brought his arms down. His sword was held in his right hand, pointing away from Ky. He rested his left hand on his hip. He stood ready to fight.
Once the anonymous announcer signalled the beginning of the round in his signature style, all of Ky’s beliefs and ideologies left him for one simple thought; to win. Knowing his opponent had a significant reach disadvantage in terms of their swords, he brought Fuuraiken below his eyes, as if aiming the sword, and brought his left hand across to grip the blade behind his right. Shifting his weight rapidly forward and torquing his upper body counterclockwise, Ky thrust the blade forward toward Sol with his right hand, his left hand continuing to guide the blade. In mere fractions of a second, Ky had truly begun the fight.
The method of his poke meant that any straight-on hit, or even a complete miss, would start to bring the blade about to his left foot for a second attack. Ky knew his opponent could block, which would likely mean the attack would deflect to his left, or move out of the way, which would still leave him ready for a second move. The trick was in his left hand, which would help guide the blade in whatever direction he wished from the front-on attack - backwards, upwards, downwards, or to either side did not matter - or rapidly move down to block any sort of counter-attack. This was also helped by his light feet position that could allow him to stand his ground to block or rapidly move out of the way of something he found tricky.
At the first hint of motion from Ky, Sol instinctively raised is sword in a blocking motion. Rather than attempting counter, he quickly backed up out of Ky’s range in case a second attack was to follow.
Both the fighters start to feel themselves slow down. As it turns out Dio has been watching the battle from the sidelines. He activates his stands special ability, time stop, and steals the life energy of both the combatants. Dio then continues his conquest to take over the world.
With Sol’s blocking motion, the tip of Fuuraiken bounced and scraped into the stone-like sword, being rather abruptly halted in its forward motion. Instead of trying to force it forward, Ky began to pull the sword to his left side instead, using the reverberated force from the sword-to-sword impact and his two hands as assistance. The tip of the sword now pointed backwards on his left side, his right arm across his body, ready to unleash a second strike.
As his opponent moved backwards, Ky began to swing his arm around, his torso now torquing clockwise to add force to the strike that would come from his left foot and across above his right shoulder. Instead of a melee strike, however, the slash released a relatively small arc-like formation of condensed electricity that rapidly flew toward Sol; not at the speed of lightning, but it would still reach him roughly a second. If the attack contacted Sol, the impact would knock him back, and the electricity would stun him for a few seconds before the charge would dissipate.
As Ky regained his normal stance with the reverse twisting of his upper torso and the excess electrical charge from Fuuraiken continued to dance around the blade and into the air, he leaped into the air toward Sol just before the moment the stun edge attack would have contacted. Now airborne, he brought Fuuraiken above his head, clutched by both hands and ready to deliver a vertical strike to the crown of his opponent’s head. If such a blow were to land, it would certainly be critical to any normal opponent, though Ky’s inner intent was not to kill his opponent, but to win - no more, and no less than that.
As the arc of electricity flew towards Sol’s chest, he quickly dropped to the ground. Surrounding himself with fire, he accelerated towards Ky’s legs under the stun edge attack. The attack towards Sol’s head would, instead, only meet air. Once he was in range of Ky’s legs, his sword became engulfed in flame. While slashing towards his opponent, he also pushed upward with enough force to bring his feet to his opponent’s eye level.
As he flew into the air, Ky saw his opponent accelerate under the stun edge attack immersed in flames. Already airborne, he focused on the air by his feet, mentally pushing a current of air against his feet to accelerate him straight forward as his legs partially extended as if in a superman pose. Just as he air-dashed forward, Ky could feel Sol’s attack by his feet just barely missing. As if with grace, he turned in mid air and landed back on his feet, a fair distance from Sol, in the same stance he had started in.
A small bit of dust kicked up upon Ky’s landing while he watched his opponent eventually fall to the ground. As Sol landed, Ky immediately slashed diagonally again from his left foot over his right shoulder, sending a second stun edge attack toward his opponent. At the same time it travelled, he slowly began to shuffle forward, his knees bent in preparation to jump out of the way of any sort of counter-attack.

As Sol turned back to face Ky, he saw another stun edge attack flying towards him. Rather than another grand viper, Sol simply fell onto his back as the attack passed through where his torso had previously been. He quickly regained his footing and stood ready to block any attack that came his way.
As Sol slipped under the attack, Ky switched stances and immediately dropped to the ground, sliding toward his opponent with his right foot slowly starting to make a sweeping motion, which would contact at the same time he reached Sol. If the sweep worked, it would trip Sol and send him onto the ground, leaving him temporarily disoriented and vulnerable. With his right shoulder forward, right arm bent, and Fuuraiken crossed to point behind him, the move also kept his sword ready for use for any follow-up attack from his left side.
As Ky slid towards him, Sol leaped off the ground and forward, bringing him over Ky’s sliding attack. He regained his footing and faced Ky. Swinging his sword forward, he let forth a wave of flames that roared towards Ky.
As Sol jumped over Ky and swung his sword to release a wave of fire at him, Ky planted his forward foot he had intended to sweep Sol with into the ground, using the new plant to keep him moving forward. In a half-leaping motion, he spun counterclockwise as he moved away from the flames. Once his feet hit the ground again, he immediately jumped upwards, letting the flames pass underneath. Moving his sword across his body as he moved upwards, a sphere of electricity began to form in front of Ky, which was then struck by Fuuraiken in the diagonal slash. The sphere formed into a fairly large bullet-shaped bolt of electricity, which would likely knock Sol down if not out as it flew toward him, arcs of electricity flying backwards to create a sort of mock tail on the projectile.
Sol saw the sphere moving towards him. He quickly dropped to his knees and held his sword in front of him. Bracing against the force of the impact, Sol slid backwards on his knees as the sphere pushed against his sword until it dissipated.
As the charged stun edge attack was blocked, Ky could see the opening with his opponent kneeling down. Despite the wall of the sword mostly guarding Sol, there was an opening behind him. Using his elevated height, he air boosted forward toward Sol. At the same time as he was only a few feet above and in front of his opponent, he grabbed onto Fuuraiken with both hands and swung downward, forcing his body into a frontflip. The sword would follow after him as he travelled over Sol, with the blade literally cracking Sol in the back of the head and Ky landing on his feet, his back facing his opponent upon landing.
