Respect Yu Yu Hakusho

Let me get straight to it. YYH will follow the format of arcs, with the characters of that arc having their feats listed in basic fashion (character + feat)

This will be the format of all my major fighting manga feat threads, since they tend to have versus topics where their picked by arcs. So the arcs covered here will be:

After angered, Yusuke matched Hiei’s speed, but Hiei retaliates with this.

Yusuke is still able to keep up, but once Hiei transforms and his youki increases, such is not the case.

Prior to above, Hiei binds Yusuke using his Jagan.

He is eventually put down by Yusuke’s reigun.

Zero Gravity

Lastly is Yusuke (Kurama had a feat, but it was only one, so I’m not going to add it to a single post)

Koenma, ruler of the spirit world, explains Yusuke’s reigun.


Taking a gander from Gouki’s profile, you’ll notice how Yusuke was one-shotted by him. Here, Yusuke takes a beating from him without to much recovery from the last beating and this time he shows more resilience.

Next he goes on to fight Hiei

Once Yusuke got angered by what Hiei was doing to his closest friend Keiko, he matched Hiei’s speed. Hiei previously vanished from his sight

Kurama’s feat

Stabbed in the midsection and able to still walk around afterward (it wasn’t shrug off damage, but he endured it quite well)

Zero Gravity

Next sub-arc is Genkai’s Tournament (short for Genkai’s Disciple Making Tournament). I’ll be doing the minor (in terms of feat) characters in a single post.

Genkai

Knocking away giant men with a kiai (scream).


Showing great distance travel and remarkable speed (take in consideration the time that passed, the distance of the closest person, and the time she said he’d be where she is).




Kuwabara Kazuma

He gets hit with multiple attacks at get up, showing great resilience.




Kuwabara forms a sword out of energy in mid-battle and one-shots Musashi.


Fuwan

Shows off his two-handed reigun that even Yusuke said was stronger than his.


Rapid punches Yusuke (although, Yusuke was fatigued).


Uses reiki homing shurikens that can explode.

Zero Gravity

Good feats start appearing around holy beasts arc.

I remember that show loosely, but as I remember it was pretty good.

Kurama and Hiei are the bomb... i am trying to get back into it... so far i only have the first manga though...

The youth can’t seem to read. Anyway...

Next major villain for Yusuke is Rando, the demon of 99 techniques (stolen)

Using one of his many techniques


He now uses a very deadly technique.




Yet another technique from Rando.




Not even feeling hits from Yusuke without rei.


Ensnares Yusuke in unbreakable (by his words) threads he created.




Summons up some demonic fish monsters with another technique.


Takes a “giving it everything I got” punch from Yusuke and pretty much doesn’t seem bothered.

Zero Gravity

Getsuno can punch a hole in the floor. He can increase his power by putting his energy into his right arm. Yusuke got closed lined by this increased power and took relatively minor damage.






His (missed) punch scares the ever living shit out of a shinobi master... and he’s weakened from his last battle and lack of rest in between.

Partially caught in the explosion created by Fuwan’s shurikens.


Charges through Rando’s wind typhoon with little reiki and alot of motivation.


Takes a thrashing helplessly while still ailing from those previous beatings (and while nearly depleted of reiki).


Inspired by Kuwabara, Yusuke musters up enough reiki to send Rando flying (didn’t hurt him, just sent him flying). Previously, he couldn’t move him an inch with multiple punches.
