Like Hao vs Captain N(Nintendo power version or anagram)? both who can become omnipotent(captain thanks to the current omnipotent found in video games).Yeah those two should be banned from the whole start.
Chibi made a good point to me in a PM. He said that one important factor when it comes to omni’s is will power. Even if they are equal in power there are still reservations. I think Captain N might not be willing to do as much as Hao would but I don’t know...

Can’t omnipotents grant them self will I mean N can just use 8 bit thief abilities to steal some will then. and if you are facing an opponent that you want to defeat then will isn’t the question. it just mean they keep tieing each other.
To emphasize on points already made:
Omnipotents should not be allowed; period. In my opinion, there SHOULD be a overall cap on power anyway, nothing above such and such a character. (something that is lower than omnipotence that is still extremely cheap)
In terms of a power-level tie, it isn’t just will-power with the abilities but tactics and strategy. If my character and Cell are doing this beam power struggle, I can teleport out of the way and attack him from behind, and basically win the struggle. That should come long before something like will-power is introduced.
In the case of an actual tie between two characters, one that isn’t broken through tactics or will-power, it should be up to a set of “judges." I.E. Some One New and Indalecio, plus a third party. They can judge the contest and say who the better fighter was. This can include roleplaying method as well, looking at how the people write for example. However it is determined, just have judges decide who wins the fight.
Something else:
It might not hurt to put the names of who is playing as who in the title, I.E. Sonic the Hedgehog (someone new) vs Order Sol (Maggot Face). Helps to tell who is actually fighting.
Oh, and one more thing; please TRY and do something about the way some people roleplay. It is butchery in some cases, and someone like me is bound to get insanely frustrated with it. http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=47653
That has a pretty good guide there to help out with things.

the thing is Most character Like N and Hao are basically tactics users them selves
I always thought in the result of a tie they both advance to the next round because obviously they had about the same level tactics since they both didn’t win nor lose :\

Well there are a LOT of things to look at that I don’t think a lot of people are. However, if it did come to a tie, then the next fight up could become a 3-way bout.
Honestly, ties SHOULD be fairly rare, for the diverseness of characters we have.
