Didn’t know he could do that. Can he damage people while intangible? Where has he used it?
He’s never been shown to damage anybody. But of course it’s only been shown once. When Seph phased through the Shinra Tanker, shortly before your first fight with Jenova.
Of course, there’s nothing to show that he can’t use spells of otherwise while intangible. And due to the law of negatives, any burden of proof would be on you, for proving he can’t do it.
I didn’t say he couldn’t do it, just wondering. This makes it closer to a tie a bit. What spells can Sephiroth do that will be the biggest threat to Darth?

A bolt spell that would likely fry the electronics in vader’s suit that keeps him alive.
It could do that. Can Vader reflect the spell with the force or will he have to evade it? Remember, Vader can crush him if he turns tangible. Is there a limit to how many spells he can use without rest and how long can he stay intangible?

No limit on spells, as far as I can tell because of what he is. And there seems to be no limit on his intangibility. Plus, Seph is badass. He could possibly will the force off of him, he is strong enough to will himself into existence after he dies.
Maybe. I still want to know why they would fight in the first place. Darth and Seph allied could do great thing. Purely evil, despicable, and deviant but great.

There really is nothing special about the Masamune. I heard a few fanboy’s on Neoseeker saying that it was composed of Jenova cells, but that is bullcrap. I’m willing to say Vader’s Telekenetic abilities own Sephiroth’s quite easily...
He willed his sword into existance.
Sephiroth held Holy back with his will.

Force Choke would work against Sephiroth. I don’t see how choking him telekenetically would crush his mind though. I’m not 100% sure about if Sephiroth managed a hit Vader could die, because we haven’t really seen Vader being hit by a normal sword before, and we know Lightsaber>>>Sword. Vader could use Force crush on Sephiroth or just choke him to death. Can’t see Sephy' doing to much to him.
Sephiroth doesn’t need to breathe, so cutting off his air supply doesn’t do much. Mind raping Sephrioth is unlikely too, this is a guy that willed himself back into existance.

Eh, the question here should be “What can Vader do that Sephiroth can’t?"
Seph can already force lift and crush like Vader can, as seen at the end of the FFVII game(He lifts up your entire party and they start screaming about how they feel like their insides are being crushed)... And this was before Sephs ascended form in Advent Children.
I dunno if Vader’s lightsaber can cut through anything... They couldn’t in KOTOR, and they couldn’t in Soul Calibur (lawl). Seph did cut entire buildings in half, and the Junon cannon, and pretty much everything except for Cloud’s sword.
If force mind tricks don’t work on Hutts and Anakin’s slave owner, then I doubt they will work on Sephiroth.
As for speed, Vader really isn’t all that fast. He relies on being able to block and counter attacks through his intuition. Seph can fucking fly around, so he is definitely more mobile than Vader. Also, if Vader does actually block one of Seph’s attacks (assuming the saber can’t cut through the sword), the force of the blow would likely send Vader flying into a wall, possibly killing him (keep all the fights we’ve seen with Sephiroth in mind. From Cloud to even Genesis. Seph hits HARD). Vader never seemed to have much constitution .
