A single space marine vs 30 or so super strong cyborg ninjas? That’s pushing it. I’d say a single space marine is equivalent to 3 spartans.

I’ll go into more detail tomorrow. For now, Space Marines w/o armor can lift 70kg with one hand and be considered heavy(a lightning claw). Spartans w/o armor can lift 40kg. The gap is not as tremendous as you make it sound.

Not really. Space Marines do not have full body shielding capable of protecting a fall at terminal velocities from orbit.

Let’s not begin to talk about shotguns piercing Spartan armor. Or Adepteus Astartes armor surviving shells that can destroy tanks.

Yet going down to mere rockets and lasguns. 40k is so large, Ricrery, that even though the authors sometimes try to wank the space marines into being ungodly, they’ve unknowingly made a mirror inverse where they’re pretty weak as well.

But really Space Marines are near invincible beings that can down a ludicrous amount of enemies before going down, in fact, only a handful of Space Marines beat thousands of Orks.

I thought those were Adeptus Custodes, which are -not- Space Marines.

I had speculations as to what the hell is so damn great about these space marines.

There big as hell, they certainly don’t move as fast as the fans make it seem like. And they certainly can’t flip over a Scorpion, which weighs 66 tons according to Sgt. Johnson.

And one of 40k fan’s favorite phrase is “Space Marines have centuries of experience."

No way dude. Experience can only go a long way. It helps yes but luck is always forever on MC’s side.

Otherwise Ras’Al Gure would have kicked Batman’s ass every time they fight if experience is worth more.

No, in the novel I last read they were taking down Feral Orks by the thousands. They only lost a few members to the Warbosses evolved Ork WAAAGH. The Feral Orks did nothing but die.
