Super Saiyan Goku vs Super Sonic

Sonic is one of the fastest and most powerful superheroes ever. However, how would he fare against the banner bearer of DBZ-Goku!!!

SSJ Goku can take on Sonic as all Sonic has is super-speed/dynamic energy and little stopping power. Goku would have to go full-power SSJ to keep up with him and go SSJ2 when Sonic becomes Super Sonic. At that point Super Sonic becomes Hyper Sonic to beat Goku and it’s on again!

Goku’d have to go SSJ3 in order to beat him.

I think Goku would win in his SSJ3 form AS SSJ4 DOESN’T COUNT BECAUSE GT DOESN’T EXIST!

Why? Here are a few reasons:

-Super strength
-Super speed-Raditz at a power level just over 1000 can travel faster than the speed of light; Goku is MUCH more powerful than Raditz. Not to mention Goku can travel faster than his max speed through instant transmission/translocation
-Goku can destroy the Earth without even thinking that’s even a possibility e.g. when he’s charging up to his ultimate power level!

Defeating Frieza who effortlessly destroys planet Vegeta while in his first form
Almost blowing up the Earth when shooting Cell point-blank with a Kamahameha

-Ability to move through dimensions
-Martial arts skills
-Being stronger than most of the Gods;well,certainly stronger than one of the surviving major Gods-East Kaioshin.
-Defeating the ultimate evil of Majin Buu on numerous occasions e.g. beating the **** outta Fat Evil Buu, smacking around Ultimate Buu, being on par with Kid Buu.
-Having his (then) weaker son be on par with the Devil (Dabura).

Plus it’s been shown in DBZ e.g with Vegeta,Krillin,#16 and Trunks vs Perfect Cell or Frieza vs Goku; that if they are much more powerful, any strike wouldn’t phase them at all.

I think we’d assume they go past lightspeed in DBZ anyway.

Anyone over 1000 is over lightspeed imo as they vanish on DBZ and only ki senses can “see” them. This is shown when the Z fighters take on the Saibamen.

Not to mention anything SSJ3 and over rips holes in dimensions e.g. SSJ3 Gotenks and Super Buu.

That was a dub error saying they were lightspeed. Anyway Super Sonic throws Goku into a sun or Black Hole. Goku loses.

I have to agree with knight diablo. Sonic is invincible/Invulnerable meaning there are NO forces that can injure super sonic. In fact the only down side I see to Super sonic is the amount of time he has.

Even if Super Sonic got tired against SSJ 3 Sonic could go Hyper and then he would be 100% invincible and own goku, even if he went SSJ4. I love both shows but hyper Sonic is invincible and can own goku.

Well, the fight would be in a ring. These two would never fight each other outside of one. In a ring Goku wins due to being the better fighter, as he would win against Pre-Crisis Superman.

#2. Goku wins against a guy who breaks infinite speed? How? How can you fight a opponent who not only hits infinite speed(very few speeders reach this), but BREAKS it.

#3. Having better martial arts skills do not matter when your attacks will be seen well in advance of when they go anywhere.

I really don’t want to do this fight again....but Goku creams Pre-C supes?

One last thing: Pre-C supes - Super Sonic at his best could probably truly trash Pre-C supes. It’d be a fun battle to watch, because Pre-C would put up quite a fight, but with factors that allow him to do so such as his speed. Only if Goku could take on higher beings than Pre-C , like the stronger supermans, then maybe that assumption would be a bit more realistic.

And yes, in a friendly ring match Goku would work circles around Pre-Crisis Superman. End of DBZ Goku is vicious. He makes far better use of his combat speed than both Sonic and Pre-Crisis Superman, he also would probably be able to knock them out with either a full powered Kamehameha or a really good punch to the stomach. That’s honestly how powerful I believe Goku to be by the end of DBZ. Remeber, Goku has trained his ENTIRE life, even after death, honing his skills. It only makes sense that he be the better fighter.

However, I beliece Sonic, and ...likely pre-C supes, are ones who have enough raw power , that it is quite the uphill battle for goku.

Yea, technically he could put up a fight..but this is the breaking point where even on his best day, Goku’s odds are ..limited....a Lot of luck goes for him in any sort of fight like that.

Super Sonic should..well, depending on what i cite..be invunerable to the punch or the kamehmeha. ..I could pull a video of Super Sonic taking blasts from the God of destruction and laughing them off, but anyway back to the point.
A friendly ring match?

Im not saying it’s impossible. It’s not like they couldn’t lose if they wanted to. However, for ....Goku to beat Supes, PRE-Crisis in a friendly ring match,,,he is going up against a LOT of factors that ...aren’t what Goku really handles....From him being one of the top speeders in fictional universes, to Superman ...say, having the Sword of superman.

It’s doable, Godhand But really not likely. Truthfully, Goku ..could win if things went perfect his way, AND the other characters ...make mistakes or somehow give up immortalities, invnerabilitities, etc.

Well, you’re an idiot. First of all, Sonic couldn’t even HURT Goku. Goku would simply Instant Transmit and do a warp kamehameha like he did against Cell, and splatter Sonic into a million pieces.
