Which exactly contrasts with your former statement of 'Debate or beat it'.

Whether it was 'meant' for people who knew about the said characters is not relevant. It doesn’t promote a productive argument, so I can post whatever the hell I want here and still be gold.

It’s not required, but it’s something called common sense. I don’t see why you would say 'Debate or beat it' when it was clear from the beginning that people like me could post here at any given time.
