The Official Mario Universe vs Sonic Universe thread

This is not like the other ones where I am matching characters up. This is an all out universe battle. There is no omnipotents allowed in this match up. But things from all the games and such are allowed to be used.

Personally, I think Mario universe is going to win this. But I am not entirely sure.

Battlefield: A meshing of both their worlds put together.

lol, Well it’s very hard for me to decide, but I think Mario universe has a good chance at winning, that isn’t to say there isn’t going to be some koopa and goomba casualties but...

Sonic himself could SOLO most of the Mario universe.
God, Mario and Sonic at the Olympics was the top of the FAIL pile for me.

They were rival games under Sega and Nintendo, but all I see for the characters battling is two exploded plumbers, thousands of dead toadstools and Koopa troopers, and a stone dead family of mutant snapping turtles.

Thats actually not true. I shit you not. Sonic really can’t solo the Mario verse. Well the Koopas and stuff but not people like Mario. In Super Paper Mario they were in the middle of end of a world getting devoured. Other than that there is the Chaos Heart and Jaydes(Who can bring you back from your game being over)

Maybe, I’m out of touch with Mario games, but maybe it depends on various game’s cannon.

I mean, Sonic universe from Sonic 1, 2, 3 and cartoon/comic would annihilate Mario SNES game and cartoon universe, but that’s in the past.

Well Super Paper Mario they got a guy who makes a diminsion and various people who can warp between them. There is a wishmaking thing called the Star Rod, and then there is the Chaos Heart(Which opened up a void that was to destroy everything, literally) So yeah, it has been ridiculously powerful, O Chunks held up a building, struggling yes but it kinda reminded me of the GT thing where Goku ha the building and was struggling with it.

Sounds like Mario Universe can win after all, but the Super characters were portrayed as ridiculous in the comics.

Didn’t comics Super Sonic and Super Knuckles nearly destroy existence in their fight or something insane like that?

I think that was Chaos Knuckles that was doing that with Super Sonic and they got sent to different zones I think, I will have to find the scans.

I remember them being posted on here somewhere, but you have to remember that that incident was something that came from them connecting punches, It’s not like they could punch reality out of existance alone.
